When taking a driving test, as long as this is still within this 12 month period, you will be able to drive yourself to and from your test. However, you will need to put L plates on your car for the duration of the test.

If this is still valid when you take your test you can attend the test also unsupervised. However you will still need to display L plates during the test as you will be driving on your provisional licence for the duration of the test. Thanks
