Somehow I thought there'd be a lot more comments on this site because this book has become pretty famous. Obviously this is a copyright infringement and so I expect that this free audiobook will not last as long as we would like. I just want to say that I was pretty surprised by the extent of the training that these marines got in World War II. You would think that they might have been given less time to train because of the manpower shortage but they did everything the right way. I think I've listened to a part of this audiobook before but I'm trying to make my way through all of it today and tomorrow.

@@zacheryzyskowski306 I haven't checked it for a while and I didn't finish it because I got caught up with something else but I think when I was listening to it on KZbin it was the audiobook. Maybe I'm misremembering it and it's just somebody reading it which is sometimes really terrible. If you ever listen to any of those librivox locks recordings you know that the chance of getting a good one is about 1 and 500. There are about 20 that I've come across that have British narrators that are quite good and could have probably become professional book narrators. But most of them and especially the ones with American readers are barely tolerable.
