Nice Greg, congrats on your purchase! At least the emtb can be chill, relaxing and quiet compared to a moto, at least you got the option of riding both 🙂, looks like you done a shit tonne of exploring which is what I love about ebikes. Once your bike is out of warranty you for sure should take the speed limiter off, you can do it on most ebikes these days usually with an app or dongle. Also you made me realise how long I have been following the channel for, possibly before your first dirt jump build went viral, i'm not 100% sure.

hey mate dont know if you havent already removed the limiter but ive got this same bike, shes a sweet ride. Easy mod ive done to mine is replaced the disc brake sensor for a spoke sensor and fitted it to the outside of the rear triangle in line with the peddle with a magnet on the back of the peddle to trick the speed sensor. Ive just unplugged the disc brake sensor and left the cable routed. Goes 40km/h on flat ground and since its a shimano speed sensor it shouldnt void your warranty if youre smart about when you take it in to get serviced but it does make the odo inaccurate. The speed sensor is a Shimano EW-SS300.

Yea there is nothing like the first ride on an ebb, I love I have the ability to climb uphill tech I’ve climbed rock walls, benches and rock stairs I would have never been able to do on a regular trail bike.
