Are you able to charge the ebike battery while riding it? If you were able to match the watts the bike charges at then you'd basically be running the bike on the inverter generator until you'd run out of gas and that could 200 mpg

yes it will charge it while riding and you dont need to do match the power, once the battery is charged it will be only using power from the generator. with the generator in eco mode it will throttle the generator up and down to match the electrical load from the motors.

@@geofrancis2001 that's awesome, I just bought my first ebike recently and have bee N looking into a trailer and generator. Don't want to get any tickets riding it around with the generator running though lol

@@a-carpenter9229 thats why i fitted a remote kill switch and a lot of sound proofing, you can see the switch in my other video. I wouldnt run the engine in a town, its for the country roads between the towns. Another way around it is to have more batteries charging in the trailer with one on the bike, that way its never directly connected to the bike so should be legal to run continuously as it is now cargo and not propulsion.
