I wish they could somehow update it before mine shipped to be on par with the newest freedom update, but I doubt it. i dont need more speed, but the power....I live basically on like a very steep hill. would love to just zoom up it. 49mph is too fast for me, but I want the power to take hills with ease!

Here we are today and find that all though he is a super nice genuine guy the Logistic of ordering to customers receiving the product is not that great. I have seen hundreds of customers complaining about not getting there ebike after months of waiting. I wish the best for this company, but its going to take a lot of work to fix the damage there logistics has caused

Should be keeping the bike locked to class2 until you get really accustomed to it. I would say 150-200 miles break in period befor unlocked to go over 20 mph. For those buying their first bike at least.

I have a 2023 E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown (AWD, 2 batteries and dual suspension). My bike has VERY high build & component quality. It appears that the 5 Star E-CELLS is basically my bike minus the front wheel hub motor. Also the 5 Star bike has a 2nd battery (rear mounted) OPTIONAL as well as a few other options that are standard on my bike.

BREAKING NEWS: Just got confirmation from HENTACH today. If you put a 45amp controller on this new motor with wider axles (we just shipped those motors Friday, by the way) you will not covered under warranty. We were told don't do it. Any manufacturer who exceeds maximum of 40 amps will not be covered! E-Bikes should sold as disposable toys or to have a ,"fluffer" get you all excited to get screwed. You profeess to be the greatest. Of what? Continued deception? I build quality bikes with frames warranted for life. I offer 2 year motor and battery warranty. When the deception ends, yes they will be gone. And ECELLS will still be here leading innovation for safety and performance. I'm not going anywhere. This is my passion, and yes, I'm emotional about it.

I may have missed this, but at one time the Five Star did not have a derailleur guard. Is there any plan to add one? Otherwise you can fully expect to replace the hanger if you drop the bike on that side.

Should get a national list of bike repair places that can work with bikes. Such as re-greasing his bikes gears or stuff that means st people dont want to tackle. Its hard to find shops to work on bikes they dont sell.

Well alright! An owner talking to people as people. Think I heard him say E-Cells has lots of custom parts. I got a 2 yr old cargo type eBike needing a dual motor, forks made to handle that, a potted controler & battery to fit in the front basket accessory installed.

Sacrifice quality with plastic and now they produce even more heat for a slight increase in speed risking longevity in hopes for sales! If problems start because of going cheap good luck with service! Also the dual motor ECells will be the first and only brand to receive a custom gallium nitride powered FTEX controller, delivering nearly 3KW of peak power per wheel and featuring flux weakening algorithms pushing the bike to a higher maximum speeds.

Very good guys . My question would be a bit more technical. Like if Ariel Rider uses dual 30 amp controllers on a Grizzly, Those being 52V 1,000 watt motors, How does a single 40 or 45 amp controller split and give even higher speeds ? Is there that battery factor that delivers that much more?

Lol when I had developed the first Intergrated dual motor controller. Many asked that question..it's simple. I just sandwiched two controllers together. So throttle splits to both controllers. Battery in splits. Then each controller operates output based on protocols preset. Each controller then fires to rear or front motor seperately. How we get our Dual battery bikes so fast has alot to do with batteries. Especially six months down the road.

I did try buying their bike (import to my country) and because I had to ask for their IBAN/SWIFT codes (which is bank info needed to international purchases) to pay the guy shut me down and said he wasn't in the mood of selling. With that attitude I believe they don't really care about customer service, at least if you are a foreigner. Unfortunately I can't support E-cells anymore after that
