This reminds me of something that happened in 2020 during lockdown. A pastor fled south Africa for Zambia to avoid being arrested. Unfortunately his daughter fell ill and needed to be airlifted to Kenya for treatment. It took days for him to get his plane clearance to land in Kenya coz of covid lockdown. It's unfortunate that by the time they got to Kenya nothing much could be done to fix the situation and the girl died. The very same pastor that was discouraging his congregants to get treatment in hospitals was doing everything possible to get his daughter to one of the best facilities in East and central Africa for treatment.
