E flite Apprentice FULL FLIGHT WITH BEAUTIFUL LANDINGS!!!

Took my dads apprentice out to fly in some very nice weather finally!!! Did some touch and goes that were very amazing in 4-5mph winds. Please like and subscribe!

To me, low and slow is beautiful. Your short field takeoffs and obstacle avoidance is awesome. Looks so cool when you come from base to final. Love the greased in touch n goes too.

Hi KB, just bought one of these over here in the uk. Never flown before EVER!!! still practicing on flight sim 9.5 I hope to give it a go and do exactly what you’ve done in your video (touch and go). I can do it ok on the sim I just hope it’s not too different in real life. Happy flying Dave North Yorkshire England

Hey Dave ! Thanks for watching! I also as well have RF9.5. It’s not too different. Just practice a lot for sure. I would also practice some stalls just in case one happened. Practice also trying to recover from the stall. That’s the most important thing 😂! The only thing that’s different from the Apprentice on RF9.5 and real life is, The Apprentice likes to float for a long time before it slows down enough to land. I’ll make a video on whatever you would like me too. Just comment and let me know! So, when you get yours, you will just have to play around with it. Try landing with about a 1/4 throttle. If you are high in the sky..., you have to cut the power early because it’s hard to slow it down. You will be gliding for a while with no power before it slows down. It’s hard to explain, but I will make a video on this soon. Currently I’m away from home and will be posting a video of the flights I was on. Not RC but it should be interesting.!!! Just let me know if you have any other questions PLEASE ! I’d love to help !

@@KB_RC can I ask how many elastic bands you used on the wings? It says to use all 8 but that seems overkill when there all on! They only just fit onto the lugs as there’s so many. Would 4 be ok?

@@cooltube You use 4. The other 4 is extras just in case one breaks or something. Make sure the rubber band are over the plastic pieces on the front and back otherwise they’ll make nasty marks on the airplanes foam on the wings like it did on ours 😬 Yeah no don’t put all 8 on there that’s definitely overkill 😂.

Very nice flying with trees and houses around. I need five football fields in every direction or I get nervous. I think part of the issue is flying in SAFE 0 makes it turn so broad.

Thank you! That’s alright! Just practice practice practice! Get RF9.5 it’ll help a lot trust me! I think SAFE is great for beginners. Can just release the sticks and it goes back to level! But I don’t use it anymore hardly ever. Mainly as a panic button!

@@KB_RC yep been flying RF for 2 years now. With sketchy winds I still turn on SAFE from time to time but to try to avoid it. Only if I feel like I’m about to crash. My 14 year old son and I went up today and had a blast.

Nice video man. I have one of these and I found out a cool way to slow it down. Just pull both sticks to the outside and then back towards eachother over and over again and it will slow down really quick because the rudder is going the opposite direction of the ailerons. Happy flying!

I have LAS on my Apprentice but I understand it works well on Grass but not so much on asphalt, because the Black does Not reflect well

@@shoodheshoodhe7903 You should fly it! Just easy gentle stick movements and you can get it to land perfectly! 👌 practice makes perfect! Don’t be afraid to fly it! Use the SAFE mode! Thanks for the comment and I hope that information helps!

@@KB_RC thanks 😊 for your information but I have proplem of binding how I bind my rc plane I'm failure to bind because I don't have bind blug for my stuff not included for my box so I connect flight bettery to esc and I switch on the plane and I press the bind botton of the transmitter then I turn my transmitter and aircraft don't bind

@@shoodheshoodhe7903 You must need the bind plug to pair it! Might want to get one! You can actually use a servo lead as one… cut the wires and take the two outer wires and tie them together! Remove the middle one! And it should work!
