Such a beautiful model. Excellent flier. Just wish they would’ve made the wings with removable tips like the 1.5m planes. That would’ve made it much easier for transport. Not a deal breaker otherwise by no means. Just my honest opinion. Enjoyed the video. 👍👍 Way up. 😉

You definitely hit the nail on the head. It’s amazing how well it flies. Removable tips would have been nice for transportation. I ended up making a cradle to set it in while in transit.

The only thing that could make this vid better is adding your stick movements/commentary to your manoeuvres for us to learn from! Great precise flying and the 2.0 T28 is a great plane to demonstrate them. 👍🏾

Yikes at 4:40! Decades ago I had a grass stain on the vertical stab of my Byron Christen Eagle with a 50cc gas engine. Never washed it off but never dared to refresh it either. Brian Phillips (KZbinr) put a 15x7, 3 blade Master Air Screw prop on his T-28 2.0 and it sounds awesome, as well as reducing the motor amps with minimal performance loss. Really nice flying! Had this been around 20 years ago I'da definitely popped for one. As it stands now, only just last week I assembled an FMS 1400 Pitts V2 as inverted ceiling art to remind this Boomer of my R/C glory days. Enjoyed your demo, great stick work!

From one Boomer to another thank you for your comments. It's amazing how nicely this plane flies. While not as fast as the ballistic pattern planes of the 70's, from when I started in RC, it is still precise and smooth. Kind of an old man's 70's pattern plane.

Thank you for watching my video. Mode 1 separates the primary control functions of the ailerons and elevator. Back when I learned to fly most of the top precision pilots flew this way.😎

Brilliant video Mike!!!! I’m toying with buying one but I just can’t figure out a way of transporting it to my field. I’m not taking the wings off every time as this will be too much wear and tear. I do drive a big Honda crv so with the wings off it wouldn’t be a problem, I just don’t like the idea of undoing screws/wires all the time because of wear and tear. 🇬🇧

Very nice flying! I recently got into RC flying after retiring from real flying & picked up a little yellow XK T-28. Pretty much mastered flying it (gyro stabilizing was amazing to have while learning). Do you think I could fly this if I got one or would you recommend something more in between?

While the Carbon-Z T-28 is a big plane it is very docile and very easy to land. That being said I would recommend getting the E-flite T-28 1.1m before moving into the big one. The 1.1m is an awesome flying plane and would make for a perfect transition.

Hi, I love the T-28. Ive got a Rage RC 400 mm UMX T-28 that I've been having a lot of fun with, but this 2.0 meter of yours is on a whole another level. I really appreciate you demonstrating an aircraft's slow flight capability. Would you consider adding stalls? You never really know how slow a plane will fly, unless you stall it.
