Please click "Read more" for links and more information. Visit www.horizonhobby.com/search?q=Cherokee+1.3m+Level&search-button=&lang=default for more information on the Cherokee 1.3m. This updated and upgraded E-flite Cherokee 1.3m celebrates the classic design of the legendary full-scale PA-28 with an accurate outline, a long list of scale details, modern-day convenience features and technologies, plus fantastic power and flight performance that makes flying exciting and fun. An abundance of scale details including molded-in panel lines, rivets, corrugated control surfaces, factory-installed LED lights, and more highlight the authentic appearance. The shock-absorbing nose strut features an improved steering arm and mounting design for easier maintenance, while the oversized wheels make it possible to fly from a variety of paved, dirt, and even some grass surfaces. Plug-in wing panels are equipped with convenient hands-free servo connections and include operational slotted flaps for shorter takeoffs and landings plus improved slow-flight handling. An extremely large top hatch featuring a pilot figure - and now including a plastic instrument panel cover to eliminate “gatoring” - offers easy access to the electronics and the battery mounting area with plenty of space to fit a 3S or 4S 2200-4000mAh battery, while the high-power brushless motor and 70-amp Smart Lite ESC deliver better-than-scale power. The power system has also been optimized with a smaller diameter propeller that offers better ground clearance plus improved efficiency and performance. Best of all, no glue is required for assembly of the lightweight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe so you can be flying in less time than it takes to charge a battery! It all adds up to deliver a scale marvel that offers incredible handling and fantastic flight performance for shooting smooth touch and goes, rock-solid low and high-speed cruising, and even for performing aggressive aerobatics in a model that’s perfect for intermediate to experienced pilots. There are many considerations, and we're already working on models that won't be out for another 2-3 years! But as you can see in the info and list below, we release a wide range of models each year: We typically release upwards of two dozen new airplane models each year, from ultra micro to giant scale, from trainers and STOL-capable models to warbirds and jets. Around half or more of those are ALL-NEW designs, and the remainder are usually NEW updates/upgrades of previously available models. We try to "sequence" them so we don't announce/release too many updated/upgraded versions of previous models in a row, but that's not always possible. And if anyone doesn't like our recent, this or any future announcements/releases, they should wait a few weeks to see what the next one is...because it could be COMPLETELY different and something they like/want much more! We've got some ALL-NEW jets, civilian scale, STOL, 3D, sport and other models - in foam and wood - in the works and coming soon. For added reference, these are the models we've released in the last ~18 months: • ALL-NEW E-flite Habu SS 50mm EDF (announced 7/21/2022) • ALL-NEW E-fllite Beechcraft D18 1.5m (announced 9/8/2022) • NEW E-flite F-16 Thunderbirds 80mm EDF (announced 9/15/2022) • NEW Hangar 9 Fun Scale PT-19 PNP (announced 9/22/2022) • NEW E-flite UMX P-51D Voodoo (announced 9/29/2022) • NEW RealFlight Evolution (announced 10/13/2022) • ALL-NEW E-flite UMX Twin Otter (announced 12/8/2022) • NEW (updated and upgraded!) @@HorizonHobbyProductsI would love to see upgraded retracts for many of your models, in particular the P51 Mustang D 1.5, softer tires and stronger mechanisms are needed. The trunnions break if you look at them wrong, the pot metal, brittle trunnions are woefully inadequate, a CNC option or upgraded is needed and the hard tires cause the airplane to bounce like a bunny rabbit on fabric and paved runways also putting stress on the weak retracts.
@HorizonHobbyProducts Жыл бұрын
@@1stMarine we're now including or offer softer tire options for some of our models (and Du-Bro low bounce wheels/tires are a good option for many of our and other models). We're also improving durability of the landing gear and retract components in new design models. But none of that is a substitute for learning how to land properly/well :) Most pilots do not practice landings enough with any of their models...you should be shooting multiple touch and goes until you can land a particular model well over and over without damaging any landing gear components. Watch Jason land a box stock P-51D 1.5m properly/well in this video for reference of how it can/should be done: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5KXeoNriL-BlcU

Too bad you can't buy these things as kits and undecorated. It's impossible to strip off the existing paint to then decorate it with a different colour scheme to match, for example, the full scale Cherokee I once owned.

Lots of people have repainted this and other models! Here's just one example from Bryan Redeker who repainted the previous version to match the Cherokee his grandfather owned... scroll down in his photo album here to see the repainting process and the result: www.flickr.com/photos/brgt350/albums/72157693748455190/ You can also learn more about repainting this and other models on his KZbin channel here: www.youtube.com/@BRGT350/videos
