Dear Matt and horizon dudes I really think now is the time to revisit the umx sbach or an extra/edge 540 project with possibly 3s compatibility. I do love the bigger models but in the real world of busy family lives etc I only have time some weeks to do backyard flying and not travelling to a big site or club field with a smooth manicured runway. My umx timber and Pitts are flown more than anything else. Guess it depends on where you live in this big wide world! Keep up the airplane addiction guys Many thanks

i have one of these and it is an amazing model for 3D or F3A. The only problem is very short flight times even on high quality 3200mah 4s lipos. I have had to back my timer off to three minutes and that is flying gentle F3A style stuff with very little full throttle and fully shut on down-lines which i don't normally do.

hi i have a FMS MXS V2 3D for three cells is smaller than this extra .. i am running at 2200 .... i fly classik pattern ..... time i have four minutes ..... bite put the battery 4500 ..... bigger the weight on f3a shouldn't matter .... did you try it ???

Is there any chance HH will up size this plane to like a 2.1m. If so , I’d rather wait and buy that over the 1.3.
