Great flying guys. How long you had this Jet for? Any other videos you did for this Jet? I really like this plane. Hoping to get it this Summer. Nose gear looks weak point. You think it will handle grass well?

Thanks! We’ve had this jet for about a year. We have the 64mm version as well and this one is much easier to fly and land. She is very stable. We don’t see any issues with grass because the landing gears are pretty tall.

How about flying closer the camera these 64mm get small real fast. Did you fly this on safe or only AS3X ,where did you set the battery how far back from the leading edge , how does it Alfa on landings.

Nice flying Jon! It's cool to see this model in action. It gives me an idea of what mine will fly like. It's 70mm also but it's the FreeWing version 1, same color scheme. The V1 came with a 4S setup with a 2750kv outrunner. It's very light partly because it has fixed gear. I had since modified it with a 2200kv inrunner, 100A ESC and a 3200mah, 40C 6S. I'm waiting for warm weather to return so I can put the speed meter in and check how fast. Hope you get many good future flights over 100mph! :)

Yes! That is the same field! In fact, we have met Pete from Banana Hobby many times! He still flies here with his giant gassers!

Did you have an approach/landing configuration preset in your transmitter? On downwind there was a transmitter beep and it seemed like the plane transitioned immediately to a slower airspeed and higher angle of attack, so that is why I ask. If there’s a setting that will help the approach I would love to know it. Thanks. That was a great landing

Thanks! No. I don't have any presets configured on my Spektrum transmitter. The beep you hear is the Timer start/stop beep. It triggers when I drop the throttle down to zero and then raise it above 25% when I'm trying to balance the airspeed and angle of attack of the jet during landing. That is why you see a drop in airspeed and the nose slightly elevated to touchdown.

Yes I have this the fms version same thing and it got me at 106 3300 60c batt. But the freewing is faster with thr inrunner and less cheaters I got 118!! Same batt. amazing these f16s are fast out of the box don't need any upgrades
