Looking at adding this as my next plane and have been checking out alll the videos I can about it. One thing I might suggest if you are doing a "review" of a product, especially one of a new release of an existing product, is discussing any upgraded features. Maybe I missed it but there was no mention of the upgraded landing gear, upgraded ESC as well as the upgraded motor mount. Just a suggestion.

Nah, we just tried to figure out where ours was. Maybe website issues still happening almost a year later? We just aren’t sure. HH is hard to get a hold of, so we were basically just telling our viewers to ask HH themselves if they wanted an answer because we couldn’t get one out of them, lol. We tried! PLEASE be careful kneeling down in front of that propeller while you plug in the battery! I did that and I was sure I had my throttle off but after I plugged in the battery the plane went though it's wiggles then the prop started full speed and you would not believe how badly it cut my legs up. I will always stand behind the propeller now. It sent me to the urgent care facility and a 10 day antibiotics regiment. Over a month later the last scab came off.

I bought a hobby king Avios mule. It flew extremely well, but putting it together. I had a couple of servo wires that were faulty. I probably shouldn't have used any of the servo wires. I took it up pretty high, put it into a flat spin and the elevator servo malfunctioned, I got it leveled out, and then the elevator servo froze in position and the plate was a total loss. I tested everything in the plane And that rear servo was still locked up tight. You're right… Other manufactures that make cheaper models can be a gamble!

OK, only 5 minutes in... the harrier and flat spin would both benefit from moving the CoG aft a little. Not crazy tail heavy, but get to the back edge of the envelope. And don't ask me why because I don't know. But I find inverted flat spins easier to get into. And very few planes need much opposite aileron, if any at all, to flat spin.

We love 50% of our redcats and that’s probably why. They aren’t cheap but usually hit the mark half of the time. It’s hard to spend so much money on something that in our opinion only has a half chance to be a solid product or not. I guess we’d rather spend our money on other things. 👍💯😎⚓️

Nice looking plane, but, the price of E-flite planes are ridiculous. The BNF basic version here in Australia is $800. For a foam plane. For that money I could have a Precision Aerobatics XR52, set up and ready to fly. A similar foamy is the Arrows Edge 540, PNP for under $500.

No. He needs to adjust the rates. Out the box they SUCK. Absolutely NO elevator authority. I had to adjust the rod to the under most and the servo side to outer most and swapped the arm for elevator to a longer one and use a different rx cuz the stick one unless u jail brake won’t give u a lot of throw. So more rates will make this thing fly GREAT. After I tuned mine up I fly it all the time cuz it’s so awesome

I see your still using the Spektrum NX7e. Wondering how it's holding up after doing all the flying you do?. Obviously I'm in the market for a new radio but I'm trying to be budget conscious

It has more than gotten the job done and I’ve enjoyed using it. Two problems in my experience. The first is its color. Looks great when clean but gathers dirt and shows it pretty quickly, and I tend to be pretty clean most of the time. The other is the screen. It just doesn’t seem bright enough outside for me, and it’s pretty small. Otherwise, it’s a great transmitter! I’ve probably got at least 1,000 total flights on it now. I love the lights on it both for looks and as a charging indicator. I also love that the switches don’t have exposed nuts on them that get lose over time. None of my switches have gotten lose! Honestly, it’s probably my favorite Spektrum radio to date, factoring cost into my overall experience. If this was any help, please consider ordering yours through one of our links! Thanks! I totally understand and we feel the same way. There were both communication and shipping issues with this airplane. We didn’t work out any kinks with the plane or anything like that, but had some post editing issues on our end that required us to fly and record this again. Plus, our overwhelming message requests about this plane led us to refocus on the subject matter of this airplane in this video to make more sense as we spoke about the reasons we didn’t have it earlier on the channel. We filmed as quickly as we could while also making efforts to communicate with Horizon only to not get a reply. So we decided to record a more appropriate video simply stating the facts and leaving our opinion of the situation out of it. Hope this makes sense. Thanks for watching!! 🙏💯👍😎⚓️

How many video's recently have you flown your planes over Abby what 3 maybe 4 times recently ??? You talk about christen values, how you want to do honest videos and how important safety is but clearly you don't care for if you cared you wouldn't fly over your own family. What ever happened to christen values I guess it only applies on your terms, you gotta love the justification " its holding the knife edge " and blow off the safety aspect. I’ll do my best to address each thing you’ve mentioned. So, first is safety: We always fly and encourage others to fly as safely as possible, yes! However mistakes can and Do happen, which is why we talk about AMA, so you bring up an awesome point! However, when Abby says I’m flying over her, it’s not actually directly over her or myself, or really even that close but due to our filming set up, we are limited on the angle that we can look up. For example, the plane might be 80ft high, 75 degrees up and still 40ft away from us but Abby is limited to her filming angle of 70 degrees for example so it goes out of frame, and her knee jerk reaction statement to that is “quit flying over us” because it is pushing her filming limits. You might consider looking at some other channels out there regarding safety as your efforts would be greatly appreciated in alarming them about the dangers involved with their actions. ❤️💯⚓️

The second thing that you’ve leaned heavily into here other than safety is challenging our Christianity, and I love that you’re giving me an opportunity as mature adults to speak openly about this! Christianity at its core means we strive to be better each day and love one another as though we are brothers and treat each other the way that we’d like to be treated. We strive to have positive relationships with others and God, and to learn from our mistakes. However, Christians aren’t expected to be perfect and never make mistakes, which seems to be the implication here. Rip out that safe receiver put in a normal receiver and you will have a 125 percent throws. The safe receiver will not allow 45° of the flexion all the way across the board. You want to fly 3D without worried about spending a ton of money go to twisted hobbies

Motion rc is not a gamble. The person setting up the plane is 100% of the time the gamble. Setup both through the radio and mechanically is ALWAYS the responsibility of the person setting the plane up and will 100% dictate wether the plane flies great or like shit. The reason you couldn't do a harrier is because the elevator rate is way too little for the maneuver you're doing. That is not the planes fault but the person who setup the plane who is at fault. Also everyone I know who owns a motion rc plane is happy with them for the price point and quality. Stop slandering other companies names and please if you need help with anything or want a plane to fly better think of every possible answer or reach out to others. You have the platform so use it to help you which will help others.

Keep up the great work Nate and Abby! Just ignore the naysayers. I own the 330 but I'm a rookie flier. You flight is awesome. I find the 330 to be a gentle beast. My low speed stall tests, no wing tip drops, gently drops the nose every time. A very capable plane imo.

It's crazy to see newcomers learn very good 3d in just under a year, already doing rolling harriers. You've been flying for way more than five years plus your channel right? I think it's time to up your skill if this is a review on a 3D plane

We do a lot more than fly 3D planes. Yes, I find it extremely fun, but I enjoy quite a few other aspects of the hobby, as well as other hobbies in life too. Plus, we have very young children and work multiple jobs. I’m happy with my current skills with airplanes. I know guys that have flown their entire lives that only fly in circles. WOW - You apparently have not had to deal with FMS, Hobbyking and Dynam - just to name a few. IMHO, as an RC insider, Horizon Hobby has been a leader and innovator - Spektrum 2.4 (no more frequency tree), SAFE etc. for years. There have been some challenges - they are not perfect - just like ALL the other RC companies out there. I have MANY different brands of RC planes and I can unequivocally state that MOST planes that come out of the box from Horizon Hobby need VERY LITTLE - if any - "adjustments" to fly compared to the "other guys". Again I say, if you think Horizon Hobby's customer service is bad, try working with those "other brands", as a REGULAR JOE consumer. Just MHO 😉😊

@TheRcSaylors Yip. That's exactly why. It has good power, but it's heavy for its wing loading. You can lift the nose higher to try and get less wing rock, but honestly, even the best of us would struggle to make it look clean

I’ve really enjoyed your channel to this point. I am, however, going to unsubscribe today.I didn’t appreciate Nate’s ‘Christian Values’ comment. There are many people in this world who are not Christian, but are far better people than some self-proclaimed ‘Christian’s’. I am not religious. I do not believe in something that is unprovable. I do, however, acknowledge that there *may* be a higher power, because I can’t prove there isn’t. Logically and scientifically, the chances are very slim that a ‘God’ exists. Every person must make a decision that feels right to them about religion. It does not make a person less likely to have honesty, compassion, kindness, honor, or integrity, if they choose not to follow Christianity, or any other religion for that matter. I wish you all nothing but the best.

No it doesn't make you less valuable a person. The values Nate speaks of are honesty, integrity, and clean language. Why would you object to those? If you have a severe reaction against Nate saying he's speaking from a Christian worldview, that says your heart knows you're wrong and Christianity is true. I don't refuse to watch KZbin channels where people are not coming from a Christian perspective. If you have such a strong aversion to Nate saying he's a Christian, that says a lot about your heart and how you know you're wrong.

Yes, you need more elevator and practice, it is not the airplane. Two Brothers Radio Control does fast rolling harriers and other waterfall maneuvers with this sweet plane. KZbin doesnt make you a skilled pilot. Belonging to a sanctioned field, flying with pros is what helps the most. You possibly answered your own question. Horizon has many sponsored pilots that compete. KZbin channels are probably a PITA for them to be honest. Its tough for experienced pilots to learn anything here. Your channel is better suited for the entry level RC.

​@@TheRcSaylors May I mention, one TRUE test of a person's Christianity is do they possess the Fruits of the Spirit - Galatians 5:22-23 - SELF-CONTROL, GENTLENESS, FAITHFULNESS, GOODNESS, KINDNESS, PATIENCE, PEACE, JOY and LOVE. ALL - which includes ME - of us need to strive for these virtues EVERYDAY and be REMINDED by our FELLOW Christian brothers and sisters from time to time IF and WHEN we fall short of ANY of these virtues. We are SUPPOSED to be CHRIST LIKE (Christian) in our DAILY lives AND DAILY INTERACTIONS with people - which INCLUDES businesses that are run by people - so that we are a GOOD example of what a Christian is AND that God is in our life so that those people would want to follow Christ also thus making this world better than it is. 🙏😊
