E-flite Slow Ultra Stick 1.2m BNF - Maiden Flight Max Aerobatics!!!

This looks to be a great RC airplane for those of us that are not as quick on the sticks as years ago. It reminds me of the old days where fun flies were the rage. This SUS looks to be capable of doing camel humps, touch and goes, and fun fly type maneuvers. Should bring lots of grins and giggles. Nice addition to have a flight of geese in the back ground too.

I'm tellin yah, Mikey Likes It, Adam flew it inverted under a shelter, o_c thinks "this is gonna be a lot of fun" (lights soon, 4S is gonna happen at some point) For only 200... really hard to go wrong, but if you ain't ordered yet, and LHS ain't got one... You could be waiting to Fall to get one...

Not gonna change ESC, will prop down and go 1300 4S, will verify Amps on Watt Meter.. it's gonna happen, just a matter of when. old_coastie

I've been flying FPV multi rotors for a few years now. I have been itching to fly a fixed wing again. The ones I still have require a lot of space to fly. This one seems more versatile in that respect. I'm going to look into availability. Thanks for posting!!

Thanks Don, Yes, the Slow Ultra Stick definitely fits the bill for a plane that doesn't need a lot of space to fly and can be mild or wild. I highly recommend it.

Really nice flying Michael as usual! You made it look good. It's hard to get a good slow precision or 4 point roll out of it because it has no fuselage area to create lift in the knife edge positions. Other than that though...she is pretty dang aerobatic!

Typically I’m a little more cautious with my maiden flights. I had the control throw already maxed out so I went for it on the take off. When it responded so well I just kept going all out with it.

It definitely flies very well for what it is but without a fuselage there is no knife edge capability.

G ISALL I’m getting about 4 minutes on a 1300 pack. I’ve been flying it lately on 3s 2200 packs and easily getting 5+ minutes.

Hi Lenny, as I typically do I maxed out the available mechanical control throws by moving the pushrods to the inner most hole on the control surface control horn and then to the outermost hole on the servo arm.
