As for a beginner plane, I have to recommend the hobbyzone aeroscout. Ready to fly for under $200. (IMHO, no need to spend a grand IF u aren't sure it's for u.)

The original t28 1.2 m eflite was my first non micro warbird 5 years ago which I still have, flaps and retracts. However I love it so much I bought this 1 too, coming in this Wednesday so I have a simple somewhat smaller park flyer, but I haven't heard anything bad about it

I have the Arrows Hobby T28 - I feel its just a better aircraft - made by FMS for Arrows Hobby - it comes with Flaps and Retracts - the undercarriage lets the e-flite 1.1m down regarding looks, that and the lack of scale details that the Arrows Hobby 1.1m T28 has in buckets full (its also cheaper) - Love the idea about the camera - I tend to purchase spare cockpits and cut all the clear plastic out - remove the pilot and stick in a camera, leaving the cockpit frame in place - this give a very clear camera image - Great flying machine that is for sure rock steady - helped by the AS3X - (I cannot fly using safe mode) I just don't feel that I have enough control, really enjoyed your video - thanks for posting

Awesome flying Joe as I haven’t been able to get confident enough yet to actually buy ad fly a Rc airplane , I am pretty good at quads and helicopters but for whatever reason I just can’t seem to master the airplanes enough to have the confidence to try one out, and I have flown on a simulator multiple times also but seem to still have problems, but I’m sure I’ll figure them out soon. Also for you not being a person who regularly fly Rc airplanes I would’ve never known as you flew it perfectly and especially the landings which are usually the hardest thing to master and you did them like a veteran pilot. As always Keep up the Great Work and Stay and Play Safe !! 👊👍

A quick tip, NEVER trim your aircraft whilst in safe select mode.. As it establishes its neutral position when the control surfaces dance (when you connect the battery,) say you trimmed it and then turned off safe select, the plane would be trimmed for flying on safe mode and not in normal mode.. safe mode requires inputs to be held for a continuous movement eg turning, you have to hold right or left aileron.. That trim that you added on safe mode could carry on moving the plane into an uncomfortable attitude in normal mode.

That was dodgy with the dog and dog walker and other people not sure I would have been confident enough to have landed because of them. Why is Amber echoing in the commentory. I know two aircraft that you would love they are VTOL's please try one as I think Amber would really get on with it, I cut my teeth on them never flown before getting them either the XD X450 Aviator or the JJRC M02 both are so much fun, you take off in tri-copter drone mode then you can transition into airplane mode then switch from 6G to 3D or it also doe's a stunt thing flicking the mode switch, IMHO the JJRC M02 is the better built of the two but both are a good learning tool and so much fun these got me into getting a drone all at the ripe old age of 65. Coming from a guy who is a 5th scale gas obsessive (ten so far) and only has a 1/4th scale MotoXbike the TRAXXAS UDR and a LOSI SBR V1 clone in electric along with the VTOL's and drone I wanted to broaden my RC experience's hence the Motorbike also I still have my much modified HPI Savage 21 with an 8CC heli engine in it and a Pro-Line Quad body and Stunt Steve rider probably collectable by now as body and rider are discontinued. I enjoy your videos and you have got me thinking maybe I need to try Crawling, Drifting, maybe bashing but have none of the vehicles to do so so my pension is going to take a big hit LOL well unless you count the UDR, SDT and Venom VMX 450 motoX bike with Super Moto tyres fitted that is but I do not bash hard as they are not really hardcore bashers, I broke my teeth on 5th scale FG buggy's most guys start small and go big not me had gas offroad truck's and buggies first. OK must sign off as waffling but it is absolutely chucking it down with rain and I am just wrenching on my Kraken-RC KV5TT changing the pullstart. Hey maybe you should try gas you will get hooked I am sure.
@scotthealey18873 жыл бұрын
That soft light foam plane is about as dangerous as a rugby ball.
@Nickwillfixit3 жыл бұрын
@@scotthealey1887 I know but the prop is not so soft, but I am a noobie hence staying clear of anything soft and squishy, a friend ploughed into the family pet on a nitro motoX bike and came off worst so I fly or drive well away from any living creature's, once I am confident that I am good enough not to hit anyone then yep I will be doing so as i do with my trucks and buggies, but dogs are so unpredictable I know I have a Lurcher and they are bred to chase and hunt so he has to either stay home, in the car or on the lead as he can run down nearly everything I have. I was not having a pop at you just saying I am not yet comfortable doing as you did, but I suppose if they have a motor chop setting I would feel better. Keep up the good work guys, from a bored UK guy it is hammering it down and today was to be my day of playing with my RC's grrr.
