Assembly is fast and simple with a one-piece wing and stabilizers that bolt into place-no glue required. This Bind-N-Fly® Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum® AS3X® (Artificial Stabilization-3-aXis) receiver that works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence. The result is a sense of stability and precision that makes you feel like you’re flying a larger and expertly tuned aircraft.
High-Power EDF:
The 12-blade 70mm fan combined with the high-RPM brushless motor, 70-amp ESC and a 6S 3200-4000mAh LiPo battery delivers nearly unlimited vertical performance and an incredible speed range with virtually instantaneous throttle response. But what makes the experience truly rewarding is the amazing sound produced by the power system-it’s almost like a real turbine.
Functional Flaps:

Feeling a tad salty 😡 whatever happened to quality control ? I've purchased the viper about three months ago right, so last nite I was a little board and decided to assemble the jet. ( BNF ) ‼️ servo leads in wrong RX slots so had to pull out the RX to rewire. Servo leads on wing ...... Not long enough to pull through bottom of fuse. Had to add servo extensions ‼️ ( short extensions ) never the less had to add. I flexed all control surfaces so,, we will see what else happens on maiden ?? There are quite a few stories about bad flap servos ? Remains to be see at this point.

Not that that's a problem, just wanted to be sure. I personally prefer the "Blue Angels" scheme of the FMS version but the Aggressor scheme on this one looks fantastic too.

it does look nice but why not just keep the FMS name? Why list it as an Eflite brand? Just so they can put AS3X on it? The PnP version is already sold out btw. Just goes to show that it didnt matter if there was an AS3X option to buy, everyone went for the PnP instead.

The PNP version is not available yet so it did not sell out faster than the BNF Basic version...which is the version most people want (and is why BNF outsells PNP many, many times to one!) :) And it's branded E-flite because it's approved by the E-flite team while being fully supported and backed by Horizon Hobby worldwide (not to mention the E-flite version includes flaps right out of the box!)!
