Anybody else feel this song is tailor made for Breaking Benjamin? I first played this song for my younger brother, didn't let him see the video or title or band. First thing he did was ask was if BB had a new or different singer for this song. In NO WAY is this taking a shot at MiW in any way... It would be a DREAM to be placed in the same conversation as a band that kicks ass as hard as Breaking Ben does. And to be completely honest, I feel like BB doing this song would somehow place the song into the "Ben kills it again" category. There's almost an expected standard of quality of song or expectancy that BB is just gonna give you chills yet again. Having MiW be the one to do this song gives it such a fresh new face and ultimately prove all of us that have stood by these guys from day one right. This band is an incredibly special band that can easily stretch across multiple genres with their sound and Chris's vocals. He's so good that he's almost too good lol. Ok ok ok I'll shut up! MiW, you fucking rock!!!

It’s a tribute to their drummer “the rev” who sadly passed away in 2009 and the video shows the band growing up together They were friends since childhood and by the end of the song he isn’t singing to us anymore he’s singing straight to his friend

It's one thing to hear the song. It's another thing entirely to watch the video. The video was produced specifically for the song. It's one thing to watch a video that involves concert footage or something like that, but many videos have absolutely nothing to do with the song, and it detracts from the song. Additionally, I'll take "Sweet Child O' Mine" from Guns 'n Roses as an example. It has a lot of footage from touring, but the song itself is about a girl. The producers should have saved that footage for a different song entirely. Embellishing the song, and giving it meaning that might otherwise be missed in just the song, that's what makes Masterpiece such a masterpiece.

You should definitely check out "City Lights" by them. It's not very heavy, but very emotional and beautiful. Always gives me goosebumps. It's also a very old song of theirs, it comes from their debut album "creatures".

Check our Architects A Wasted Hyme. But check out the Acoustic version as well. There is something about their music that stick to my heart strings. Wasted Hyme is a slightly heavy song than Masterpiece, but the Acoustic version just put more raw feeling in it. I've included the link to the song.
