വീഡിയോ അതിമനോഹരമായിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രസന്റേഷൻ ഒക്കെ സൂപ്പർ തന്നെ ആണ്, സമ്മതിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഒരു കാര്യം പറയട്ടെ. എനിക്ക് മുപ്പത്തൊൻപതു വയസ്സായി. ഞാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഇരുപതു വർഷമായി ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ നല്ലൊരു പങ്കു കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറിന്റെ മുൻപിൽ ചിലവഴിച്ച ആള് ആണ്. ഞാൻ ഒരു സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയർ Developer ആണ്. ഞാനും എന്റെ കുടുംബവും ഇത്ര കാലവും ജീവിച്ചത് ടെക്നോളജിയുടെ സഹായത്താലാണ്. ഞാൻ പത്തു പന്ത്രണ്ടു വർഷത്തോളം കോർപ്പറേറ്റ് മേഖലയിൽ പല കമ്പനികൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി ജോലി ചെയ്തു. ഇപ്പോൾ നാല് വർഷമായി ഫ്രീലാൻസെർ ആണ്. എനിക്ക് ജീവിക്കുവാൻ കോർപ്പറേറ്റ് മേഖലയിൽ ഒരു ജോലി പോലും ആവശ്യമില്ല എന്ന് എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലായി. കാരണം എനിക്ക് എന്റെ ടെക്നോളജി സ്‌കിൽസ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സ്വന്തം ക്ലൈന്റ്‌സിനെ കണ്ടെത്താനുള്ള കഴിവുണ്ട്. എനിക്ക് എന്റെ ലാപ്ടോപ്പ് കയ്യിൽ ഉള്ളിടത്തോളം കാലം എനിക്കും എന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിനും എത്ര കാലം വേണമെങ്കിലും സുഖം ആയി ജീവിക്കാം. കോറോണക്കാലത്തു ബാക്കി ഉള്ളവർ പണി ഇല്ലാതെ വീട്ടിലുരുന്നപ്പോഴും എനിക്കൊരു പ്രശ്മാവുമുണ്ടായില്ല. എനിക്കും എന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിനും സുഖമായി ജീവിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ലാപ്ടോപുമായി വീട്ടിലിരുന്നാൽ മതി ആയിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഇതൊന്നും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു ലോകത്തു എങ്ങനെ ജീവിക്കുമെന്ന് എനിക്ക് യാതൊരു ഐഡിയയും ഇല്ല. കാരണം വേറെ ഒരു ജോലിയും എനിക്കറിഞ്ഞു കൂടാ. അത് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ എനിക്ക് ഒരു പരിധിക്കപ്പുറം ടെക്നോളജിയെ കുറ്റം പറഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കാനാവില്ല. എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ എന്റെ മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ എപ്പോഴുമുണ്ട്. അതിൽ പല ക്ലൈൻറ്സും മെസ്സേജ് ചെയ്യും. അതിടക്കിടക്കു ചെക്ക് ചെയ്യണം. ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ എങ്ങനെ ജീവിക്കും? ഒരു മാസം പോയിട്ട് ഒരാഴ്ച പോലും മൊബൈലും സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയയും ഒക്കെ വേണ്ടെന്നു വെച്ച് ജീവിക്കുക എന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ സാധ്യമല്ല. കാരണം ഞാൻ ഇതൊക്കെ കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ആണ് ജീവിതം പടുത്തുയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നതു. ഇത്രയും ഒക്കെ എഴുതിയതു സ്മാർട്ട് ഫോൺ അഡിക്ഷനെക്കുറിച്ചു താങ്കൾ പറഞ്ഞത് എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലാവിഞ്ഞൊട്ടൊന്നുമല്ല. എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ആ രീതിയിൽ ഡിജിറ്റൽ ഡിവൈസുകളുമായി ചങ്ങാത്തം പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ എന്റെ ജീവിതം കരുപിടിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു ബ്രോ, മാറാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല.
