In this video, I will be showing you how to make the traditional sweet Coconut Sweet. This is a very tasty sweet that I used to get when I was younger. I love this sweet so much, and everyone should try making this at home. I used pink food colouring but you can use any colour you want. Please enjoy watching and making this amazing Coconut Sweet :)
Coconut Sweet ingredients:
Desiccated coconut - 300g
Sugar - 225g to 250g
Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
Food colouring
Condensing milk - 1 tablespoon
Some ghee

Oh, here we call it coconut candy. You have done it so well. Can be kept for weeks if refrigerated. I make an even more drier recipe by frying the coconut to a golden brown colour. Other ingredients same except that, I use powdered milk and cardamom powder instead of vanilla essence. I store the dry candy in an airtight bottle. It can last a month. Very addictive sweet dear. Of course, it is a children's delight and diabetics woe.😄Few ingredients, easy to prepare but I am scared to eat, though I don't have diabetes.😫Thank you dear for sharing. All the best. Oh those Coconut Rocks reminds me of my school days. We queue up at the Convent canteen to buy it. Very nice recipe Gowri. Your hotplate looks very cute. Here in Srilanka we are experiencing gas shortage and also power cuts. Very sad situation.

In Malaysia we call it Coconut Candy.. We use pandan leaves too. For fragrance ( fry with the fresh cioconut to dehydrate) & condensed milk more.. This looks fabulous.. Tq
