All sounds are recorded directly from Proteus 1's audio out to Tascam DR-05x in 24bit/48 khz quality.
Released in 1989, Proteus/1 was the first rack mountable ROMpler synth manufactured by E-MU. It has 4 MB of sounds from the EIII library (Rock and Pop samples).

- 32 Voices Polyphony
- 16 channel multitimbral
- 4 MB of 16-bit ROM samples (E-mu E III)
- 125 waveforms
- 64 User programmable Presets (064-127)
- 128 Factory Presets (0-063 + 128-192)
- 6 individual audio outputs
