Hi! These are so helpful! Could you do an episode that shows what the bunk room and bathrooms look like? There aren’t photos and my daughter keeps asking. Maybe an episode in what to pack/not to pack! Thanks!

Can you please do a video of what the different activities consist of? "Intro to Ocean Adventures" and "Junior Aquarist and Junior Guards", the difference between "Basic Snorkeling/Skin Diver" and " Advanced Snorkeling/Skin Diver"? Do they need to sign up for the basic at the same time as advance, then do one on one week, and the other on the next week?

Hello! Thank you for tuning in. We just uploaded a video for the 2-week activity guide. Hopefully that helps with some of your questions. They only need to sign up for one snorkel class. Advanced or Basic, based on comfortability.

Great video. Thank you! When will campers be able to choose their activities?
@CatalinaSeaCamp7 ай бұрын
Yes! Campers chose their activities prior to arriving at camp. We will be releasing a video on our 2024 activity guide in the coming weeks!

Out of curiosity why was parents' day cancelled for the 3 week Toyon Bay sessions this year? I am a former CIMI SCUBA instructor (1997 and 1998) and I was soooooooo looking forward to being at camp with my own child. Is the event being done away with all together or do you think it will return next year?

Thank you for reaching out Ryan! Parents' day was canceled after covid because we could not opperate that event at that time. We have decided to not continue with the event because we realized that it opens up our programming for more opportunities for the campers, more time off for our staff and a better flow of schedules. The shore boats are not around anymore either so transportation would be difficult. We do have a Sea Camp/CIMI Alumni weekend that you could attend with your camper since you were on dive staff! I hope this answers your questions.

I do not see "Try Dive" as an activity. Where can we find this, or would the child select this when they arrive? Thanks for the videos!

You are right. We just updated the 2-week activity guide to include information o the Try dive Experience. You do not need to sign up for it as a class because it is a one-day experience. As long as all the Dive Paperwork is done and they are 13-15 years old, they are good to go!
