The Jaguar E-PACE-the first Jaguar compact SUV-exudes attitude, drivability and character in an exciting, F-TYPE-inspired sport design.
Exterior
The E-PACE features signature F-TYPE hues with flared rear-wheel haunches that line the entire profile of the vehicle, imbuing the SUV with a true sense of speed and movement. The F-TYPE style front and rear fender creases give the E-PACE a muscular body language that is emboldened by its contrast clouding wheels.
The profile features short front and rear overhangs with a dramatic rising belt line and the sweeping roofline integrates with the rear spoiler, which sits on a steeply raked rear window, to give the vehicle a taut, athletic appearance.
Features
Drivers can choose between the E-PACE and the E-PACE R-Dynamic model types with standard (S), SE and HSE design options.
Through the model range are a host of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in addition to standard features like rear camera, front and rear park aid, lane keep assist, emergency braking and cruise control with speed limiter. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems like Park Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition can be found in the standard design, while the SE and HSE further benefit from the addition of the Drive Pack, which features Blind Spot Assist and more.
In-Car and Engine Technology
Infotainment specifications build through the model range, as well, with features like smartphone connectivity, navigation, pro services, Wi-Fi hotspot technology and an optional 12.3-inch interactive driver display.
The E-PACE offers the choice of two 2-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged engines-the 246 hp Ingenium gas engine with standard driveline and the 296 hp Ingenium gas engine with active driveline. Both engines are equipped with stop-start technology and smart regenerative charging, which harvests the kinetic energy from braking to charge the battery for maximum economy. Very clean and very clever.
Interior
The E-PACE interior carries the sporting lineage through with a chicane line that sweeps over the dashboard and helps define a familiar Jaguar cockpit arrangement. This includes a three-spoke leather sport steering wheel, high center console separating the driver from passengers and an evocative leather grab handle.
The interior materials and finishes are all very engaging and clean to the touch with a classic sport car-style gear selector and perfectly positioned black paddle gears behind the steering wheel.
Ambient lighting color options with 10 different moods add to the personalization options of the E-PACE and, equally theatrical, is the optional Meridian surround sound system, which delivers audio through 15 front, rear and side speakers.
Rear seat passengers can enjoy ample legroom with the E-PACE’s flexible 60:40 rear seat configuration. E-PACE owners also enjoy 24.2 cubic feet of hatchback space, which expands to accommodate up to 52.7 cubic feet of cargo with the rear seats folded down.
