Thank you! :) you need to use a zip-tie around the grey rocker arms, slide the zip-tie under them, then squeeze the rocker arms together (just push the revo toward the ground to desired height and tight the zip-tie, make sure to keep a little suspension travel...)

Thank you :) we used fishing line made of kevlar 40 lbs test or higher, turned it around the tire in the grooves, with CA glue, and do a tie. It never unglued or come off for us :)

Its not bad unless you keep it that was for weeks, it may weaken the spring a little if you keep it that way for too long... but it will not break anything, just make sure you still have a little travel in the suspension, otherwise it will bounce too much... :)

Thank you :) Yes the Phaltline are ruber, with a foam insert, The RC8T-e is about the same size may be aslightly lighter, with different design thats for sure, we will may be test the RC8Te for top speed next year :)

@gigiItaly83 hi, thx:) 1) the 2700kv by Neu is more powerful, than the 2200kv, but the 2200kv will most of time run slightly cooler. we use the Neu 1.5d 2700kv for top speed, otherwise we use the 2200kv. 2) Direct fit, use the nitro revo spur gear with a mod1 pinion. 3)i dont know what i told you for the setup, but the tires are the most important. 4)We used the 4200mah Thunderpower because the 5000 did not fit in the battery case...later we modified the box to fit, but lost protection under

@fq300evo On the wing thats the upper part that do downforce, one each side, we kept the center part. For the body we cut the rear of the body to let air escape. :)

@kenshitheone not needed and it add weight for no reason. It could help if we wheelie, but it happened 2-3 times out of like 50-60 passes that we almost lost it. But on most runs if it wheelie we just let off the throttle and its fine, we dont have enought room anyway if it wheelie, we have to come back and do another pass.. :)

Tires are HPI Phaltline and HPI tremor wheels. The GPS is a Garmin Forrunner 101. you can get them in lhs or online, got the GPS on ebay. :)

Timing is set at max for the motor, yes we modified the Phaltline tires, to eliminate most of the tires ballooning and ungluing... :)

@mefuzion We dont use tape, i hate that solution, not effective for that kind of speed anyway. We used fishing line, and never had to replace it in the entire summer, the tire was worn at the end of summer , the fishing line was kind of welded on the tire. thx! :)

Yeah thanks mike i had put the gearing at 18 54 an at the moment i am very satisfied with it i am waiting till geting used to that speeds and wanting more before moving up it will i believe for meee be more enjoyable that way rather than just immediately puting the batteries and gearing to go 60 plus i am goin up gradually. currently running 4s 18 54 just changed to that from 18 65 and big difference an when meee get used to that then i will go to 6s. @1521joe no problem :) Its a custom gearing, but its nothing hard to find, its a 24t pinon (mod1 size) with a 36t nitro revo spur gear. :) Its a good all around truck, but you may need to upgrade some stuff if you run 6S. :)

With a good 2.4ghz you dont really need to have the antenna sticking out of the body, we had no range problem with the antenna inside the body, at those speed if the truck flip on its lid it will cut the antenna. We used a Futaba 3PM fasst. :)

You are using the stock 32 pitch, we used mod1 pitch pinion and spur, the spur gear is a nitro revo spur gear from robinson racing made from hardened steel , 36t. and the pinion is a mod1 24t pinion. The Maxamp 5250mah battery will not cut it for those speed, fastest we got from them was 78mph. :)

We used kevlar fishing line 40 lbs tes or higher, and glued it around the tires in the 2 groove, with CA glue, made a tie at each end. i wont revel anymore than that, thats plenty to go over 80 easily. :) Goodluck!

ahh thanks, i just took my rc8te out , it has a 150 amp hobbywing esc with a rather cheap but powerful motor in it. its is very fast but gets slittle hot as it isnt so efficient i believe. also sometimes it stall a little so i presume its the motor timing. am i right ? as it changes from not working very well ata ll too workign much better but still dropping out now and then.

It could probably help, but the problem is the rear would be too light and makae the truck unstable, we tried and over 70-75mph it was harder to drive. :)

Thx :) you cant do those speed without good tires, so id say the tires is the most effective mod, those tires in the video were modified though, they will hold up 65-70mph without the fishing line mod. you need gearing, driveshaft, lipo, range etc... :)

@blackwidowc101979 The motor is a Neu 1515 1.5d 2700kv, the stock motor did 88mph. the list would be too long+explanations... its very hard on the esc anyway, i dont suggest you to gear it over 70mph. Use 27t 54t (32 pitch gear like stock) HPI phaltlines tires, 6S lipo over 30C discharge, low suspension setup, lot of room and you should hit 70. start from there and see if you still want to go faster. 70mph is still pretty fast for its size.

It was using the MMM witha Neu 1515 1.5d, two 3S Thunder Power 40 4200mah lipo , 24t 38t gearing mod1, extended wheelbase 19mm, CVDs, lowered suspension with zip-ties, modified Phaltlines tires. and some suspension adjustments. , altered rear wing, rear of body gutted to let air escape. thats about it... :)

I have a stock E Revo. Recently mine started to just take off and glitch. I drove it today, it started off fine, then after a while it started to take off.(I picked it up because it was going full throttle and I turned it off.) I don't want it to take off in a brick wall. I did accidently leave the remote on all night. But I changed the batteries once I saw the little light on it blinking. After that it has been acting up. Please help!!
