The fact that you guys only have 20,000.00 subs is mind blowing to me. I know the majority of your followers are older core people but its almost sacrilege if the younger gen of shredders do not listen to you guys and learn about our history and culture. You guys are amazing and I like Buds even more than I already did. Such a good dude and so genuine in the way he speaks and treats people I have nothing but respect!!! Bombhole for life🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙eastcoast to the westcoast day 1 legends!!!!

⬆️ this comment could of been written by me! Bang on!! I only just checked the sub number and it is mind boggling though why it’s only at this number. I mean it’s great right, but I assumed it would be In the 100 thousands at least. Ah well the kids will find it sooner or later. I’m 51 and I wonder what the age demographic is for the show… ? Definitely something for all ages here, but I’m guessing it’s an maturer band of shredders locked in.

Technine, MFM, Magoon,Bradshaw… basically the reason bear still holds some respect and what it was in 10’ Had no clue Estone created technine sooo sick my dude. Just found this podcast and it’s sooo necessary for shredders. It’s like the nine club for snowboarding . 🤝

Hands down the best episode ever (BEV) of The Bomb Hole, and arguably, the most important 3 hours of snowboarding history. Budz is closing the gap of knowledge for snowboarding history and passing on stories that would otherwise never be heard.

1:04:59 Dual colour Wittlake bindings were the bomb. Though back then T9 had no questions asked warranty which was really the shops having a bucket of T9 spare binding parts. This was abused hard around Calgary/ Banff (or QC wasn't so good then) and led to pretty much everyone rolling around with mulit-coloured Technine bindings at that time. I had some memorable pieces of kit from T9 and section, think first pair was a blue pair that became multi-coloured, a brown wildcat pair, still have white paisley all over print ones in rotation on my pow boards had the section all over print MFM jacket and pants (two sizes too big of course)! Such a sick and memorable era of snowboarding I will never forget getting 40's of OE from the Technine booth at SIA Vegas.

Absolutely amazing episode. I worked at a shop in Bend and remember hearing the news about JLA. Happened to be wearing my JLA sweatshirt while listening and brought back this memories. Thanks for sharing that story.

I can still remember when the news of Jeff's death hit me at the end of February 2003... I was shocked. One of the riders I admired the most had left us... It's hard to hear the true story, because German magazines only ever talked about a rail trip in Japan... Just looking at it, I was so touched that it also brought tears to my eyes... All the love to the Anderson family and you guys too of course JLA Forever

Shout out to the fuckin man Stoney Budz. My first snowboard was a 2008 Technine "The Fiz". Even as a 12 year old Technine had a huge influence on the Midwest snowboard scene. 14 years later, I still have that board and have been dying to take it on a nostalgia lap through the park. Might have to wax it and take it to work with me at the resort this week.
