Yeah, I feel like the bunches of old calc for Pela/ Gui vs JQ etc just automatically assume perma uptime for convenience shake, even though it isn't really the case in reality. Meanwhile JQ who actually has perma uptime that transfer always QoL is so huge you have to use him to feel it.

True specially when changing waves and bosses with 2 phases my pela ult can't keep up in a zero cycle run but jiaoqiu has no debuff downtime at all.

That's one of the big issues with excel sheets. One of the main problems I've seen is always the duration of the fight. I've seen durations of 550 AV, which really don't exist if you're aiming for 3* MOC. A 5-cycle clear of one side is more like 350+450 AV, and the split causes huge problems for Gui's firekiss stacking especially for Acheron teams. It takes a comically long time for firekiss to reach max stacks especially on slow enemies, and it's not as if you can wait for it to stack before using Acheron's ult. And the faster we want to clear, the bigger the disparity becomes. Having said that, the AOE improvement is massive but the ST improvement less so.

The math for it makes sense, but it's still eye opening just how much JQ, his vuln, and his knot generation almost completely closes the gap between S0 and S1 Acheron. A lot of mixed emotions when looking in hindsight about pulling S1 for her. Everyone knew her BiS support was eventually coming, but without knowing exactly how that support would function, and with the roster at the time, S1 looked nearly "mandatory" for her to perform well since 1 additional knot per turn is kinda nuts. Who knew a single character would completely trivialize her knot generation...

its kinda funny now too bcs ppl who doomposted abt JQ are probably doing it bcs they DID overinvest into her vertically and now wanna justify them spending to get e2s1 when getting the e0s0 of the newest character is a bigger boost to her DPR, hence all the barely better than Gui comments

I saw someone in the comments of the last video literally talking about how the reason you're not doing acheron is because it will be piss easy lmao I mean, might aswell cash in the clear if people wanna see it and it requires negative difficulty, I'd say thanks to Jiaoqiu she's even better than Firefly for a 0 cycle at all E0/S1 investment

The standard 0-cycle for the puppets with Firefly is actually harder to pull off than this one lol. At least the one I'm familiar with. Like this is the most cookie cutter, 2 ults and call it a day 0-cycle you could ever ask for.

It's mainly for people who aren't super good at the game. It gives access to more jades. I don't mind it as it doesn't really effect other dps units. Eventually we will get mega specialized units that work specifically with another.

Moving from fire to ice weak content would definitely hurt him in the department where he is running as an on-element debuffer. But he would still have his BiS slot in Acheron teams. Man I sure wish Hoyo paid me.

This was such an easy 0 cycle I'm not joking. Minded i have s1 Acheron and e1s1 jiaoqiu (got really lucky). It took me 2 attempts without optimizing builds, i did another one just to make it so that ruan mei had less speed and did not loos the ult. But both where super comfy. It was my first time 0 cycling intentionally.

Sorry for nitpicky question, but why are you not using Puppet boss actual boss theme in your videos? You always use Grand Theather default fight theme for them

I always thought this was the boss theme. I don't play with BGM (or even any sound) when recording in case I need BGM-less clips from the gameplay. I just went to playthrough side 1 again and you're right, it is the wrong OST. Guess I'll fix this if and when this boss returns

I don't believe Jiaoqiu changes anything since his debuffs don't interact with Acheron's own self-buffs. Along the passing shore always out damaged GNSW even without an extra ult. And Acheron will still be generating extra stacks with the chance of an additional ult depending on how your rotation ends.
