Actually, the song is an original of Parokya ni Edgar, a soft-rock band, and this is just a cover. Julie just maintained the sanctity of the song which was supposed to be soft and loving. Julie has been dubbed as a singer for all genres. Her actual strength is R&B for which she received several awards. She also did a theme song for a Netflix animated movie, Over The Moon, entitled Rocket to the Moon. She can also RAP and she has many covers in YT including her very first one, Superbass, by Nikki Minaj! He was a member of Circus Band, which in my opinion, is one of the best if not the best band ever formed in the country because of the vocal prowess of each of the singing members which also included Hajji Alejandro, another OPM great. Regine Velasquez, Morissette Amon and Martin Nievera also sang this song, which was composed by Ryan Cayabyab for Basil Valdez 2. Iduyan Mo - Ryan Cayabyab and Ateneo Chamber Singers. This song was also originally written by Ryan Cayabyab for and sang by Basil Valdez. Regine Velasquez also has a version of this. 3. Da Coconut Nut (The Coconut Song) - The San Miguel Master Chorale. The Philippine Madrigal Singers and several other foreign choirs also sang this. This was originally sang by Smokey Mountain. 4. Kailan - Julie Ann San Jose. This was also originally sang by Smokey Mountain. Leah Salonga also sang this live. 5. Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika - Hajji Alejandro.
