I've actually met Ryan Cayabyab in person over twenty years ago when I auditioned for Disney Hong Kong. That time, they were just in the process of looking for talents to work jn Hong Kong. The audition was in San Miguel building in Ortigas and I was both star struck and nervous. He was gracious and wished us good luck.

I hope you get a chance to react to Morissette's interview on TWBA, where she shared her journey of being diagnosed with a throat tumor and undergoing surgery at a very young age. The interview was both sad and inspiring, as despite all the unfortunate and intimidating setbacks, she still has her voice and continues to inspire millions of people and aspiring singers. Her fans even made a video documenting her journey: from battling a throat tumor and not winning a national singing competition, to her rise to fame, winning national and international awards, performing in concerts both locally and internationally, becoming the first Filipino to judge and mentor in an international singing competition alongside Michael Bolton, and collaborating with major international producers and singers. Yes, it is all him. He layered 16 of his voices. The Christmas Album was a “sister“ album to his popular One Album where he first did the 16-voice layering which was a first of its kind at the time of its release. I have both albums in my collection.
