Hi! Thank you for being here :)
Forgive the audio quality. My sister so graciously, let me use her new camera for this video. While the video quality is AMAZING compared to what I have been using, I probably really need an actual microphone for the audio. Oh well, live and learn. I'll get a microphone for next time. I don't think the audio is THAT bad, it just could be better.
In this episode I talk about my beloved, finished Calypso sweater and all the thing that are on my needs right now! Thanks for tuning in :)

Love your Calypso sweater. Thank you for sharing your lovely projects. I really found your episodes interesting. I like to hear about yarns from around the world. That’s because they are not accessible to me. We have such limited range of knitting yarns. Just today I received some yarns that I ordered for a Shetland colour work hat. Instead of fingering weight as ordered they were bet sport and DK weight 😅

Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 😊 😀. Your Calypso is lovely...I hope to start mine soon. I've chosen Rowan Felted Tweed...I've been wanting to try this yarn for a while. Also...Biches et Buches would be pronounced "beesh ay boosh".

Love your Calypso sweater and it’s good to get to know a bit about the rest of your life as well as knitting. On the microphone another podcaster said that they have a good camera but find the best microphone is the iPhone and her podcast has good sound quality.

Hello! I'm happy to have one podcast a month if that's all you want to do. I wouldn't want to stress you too much! But if you'd like to, and have the time I'd love to hear about your sewing! Knitting is my primary craft but I sew a lot of my own clothes too.

A really beautiful sweater, I love it! The neckband will look better if you put inside an elastic thread, it usually does the job, try it out.

Also to your last point, I would honestly be thrilled with whatever uploads you want to do, ha. I would love videos that go into your planning (patterns, colours, yarns, seasons) and analysis (revisiting FOs you've made to see how they've worn, how much wear they get, etc.). I think the way you marry colours and patterns together is so nice, and your colour choices are always so classic and gorgeous. :) Even if your plans change (mine do too!!! so much, lmao) even that's fun to see!

The mods you made to the Calypso are just lovely. The colors are vibrant with that red, but still classy. With your hair and earrings, I was totally getting Lauren Bacall vibes. 😁 I meant to say in the last video… culinary school dropout librarian. Props on embracing where you are now. 😉 With regards to content feedback, I really enjoy the sit downs. 😁 But, I also really enjoy the way you analyze yarn and how it behaves and feels. Your opinions come across quite balanced. For instance, I have never used spincycle and I was very curious how it behaved and what it felt like and now I feel like I have a good idea. 😉 So, it might be interesting to see what’s in your stash and hear your thoughts about the yarns that you’ve used or your thoughts on what you have and what you might use it on. Cheers. 💚🧶☕️🤓

Regarding your notes on extending the colourwork yoke of your gorgeous new sweater, have you ever tried adding raglan increases? I first learned this from the Azor sweater by Orlane Suche (who is incredible) but I think the Ranunculus also does it. I hope this isn't too forward or telling you something you already know since you're a long-time knitter. :) I just love gushing about it since it adds a beautiful shaping around the armhole that offers a lot more movement (in my experience) and I think it can make yokes fit really nicely too! I add it to every single colourwork sweater I make now, haha.
