So e0s1 is obviously better in pure damage, but it's still the same cycle with slightly less comfy sp usage. With E1 you could honestly replace Gallagher with Bronya and take full advantage of using less sp. But this is a comparison so I can't really do that :p Anyways, hope you enjoyed!

Yeah, go for E1 instead of S1 cuz it gives 15% def ignore which is good for SB dmg and she won't be sp negative. So she can be paired with Bronya for more turns, but they have to be fast

Who would you replace for bronya though? She isn't better than either RM or HMC. The lightcone is a 20-30% damage increase over full buff aeon lc. If you don't need the sp, then the signature is better. It's just a matter of preference, personally I like the comfort that e1 gives as well though.

So, as someone who currently has E0S1 Ruan Mei, E5 Harmony TB with S3 Memories of The Past, and E6S5 Gallagher, is it better to get E0S1 or E1 Firefly with S5 Fall of an Aeon? Currently at 10 pity with guarantee for the character banner, and 0 pity with no guarantee for LC. Also have around 190+ pulls saved up and horrendous luck (50/50 win rate of 30%, lost my last 5 consecutive 50/50's).

e1 will be your best bet. I have a comparison video on my channel on e0 firefly comparing both aeon and sig and there isnt so much difference to pull over e1 unless you really want it.

Then Aventurine released (who is even stronger than Fu Xuan) and after getting Acheron I tried pulling for him. Yanqing ruined my 50/50. And now I'm trying to get Fu Xuan, but still didn't get her. So yeah, that's the story.

I think you can change Ruan Mei with maybe...Bronya so that she can get more turn faster and deal more Super Break. Plus, Bronya also give increased dmg buff which can also help on increasing Firefly damage IMO.

ruan mei with e0 firefly is much better. if you get unlucky, her best other support is asta, as she provides good speed(more turns in mech) and attack buff(which for firefly means break effect with traces 10 attack after 1800 = 0.8 breakeffect).

That is exactly what I was thinking about. E1 Ruan Mei has bigger defense shred and the SP consumption in a team with HMC should be ok, so I would prioritize Ruan E1 or Firefly lightcone (stacking defense shred isn't that good when you just can have +15% with lightcone).

Not really. Ruan Mei gives break effect, weakness break efficiency which increases super break damage, and delays enemies to make it easier for ff to deal damage. Plus ff is so fast that sparkles action advance won’t mean much. It’s a fine alternative because def ignore is great for firefly, but it will be a downgrade, especially since the crit stats sparkle gives will be useless.

Outgoing Healing Chest, SPD Boots, HP Orb, ERR Rope. 2pc Passerby, 2pc Hackerverse, 2pc Talia You don't need a Break Rope because his own 4* LC gives lots of Break Effect. And even if you don't hit his 150% BE cap in your build, HMC will buff his BE so you will definitely exceed 150%. I run my Gallagher at around 120% BE (you can get that much from traces, substats, eidolons, LC) and my LC isn't even at S5 yet. In game with HMC buffs, he's probably way over 200% BE. My Gallagher is also at 140 SPD, and I don't bother getting any more SPD because Ruan Mei gives 10 SPD bonus to the whole team anyway

Ruan mei is her biggest upgrade, as well as also being an insane unit. If you can/want to, I'd recommend Ruan Mei over anything. If you decide not to despite that, bronya would be a better choice with ffe1 than sparkle, as there shouldn't be much sp issues for sparkle to handle, while giving a better action advance.

I mean u dont need s5 aeon light cone right now, if u do simulate universe ever week u will eventualy get it s5, but in the other side if u have memories of the past with high superposition u dont need ruan mei light cone so drasticly. Memories of the past will be the 4 star of the Firefly and ruan mei signature weapon banner so u can gamble to get many copies while u pull for firefly light cone if u want too

Ruan Mei's LC isnt that necessary for RM Break Support. u can go E1S0 RM or E1S1 Firefly. u can just put S5 MoTP on Ruan Mei, or even S5 Meshing Cogs (3 star LC), so she could spams her ult.

i cant tell u properly bec idk the state of your acc ( like how much jades/passes u have or how many harmony lc u have) In my opinion go first get your RM and firefly, then go for RM sig, then depending upon your luck either save or see ahead. My reason is : 1. firefly already have a good f2p lc as u know, and even if u don't have that herta lc now, u will eventually get it. 2. building RM is more difficult bec u have to get both break effect and also u have to manage her energy. If u don't have any break effect harmony lc then reaching 180% break effect with also getting some energy is difficult. Remember that u can only put either energy rope or break effect rope 3. U also have to think about HMC, bec he/she also need a harmony lc, but luckily , MOTP is rate up when u will pull for sig. Remember that getting s5 of MOTP is difficult so , I will highly suggest u FIRST, not to combine( superpositon) bec u depending upon how many copies u will get of MOTP, u have give it to HMC 4. Some things about LC and edilon . MOTP on RM is only good if its s4/5, and don't think about using 3 star lc , I mean u can but like i said before, U NEED TO REACH 180 BREAK EFFECT or 160( bec 20 u will get from RM traces ) . idk how much break effect HMC needs but MOTP on any superpotion is better then the 3 star meshing coges . Getting e1 RM is better then getting e1 firefly bec, by getting e1 RM, it will benefit YOUR WHOLE ACCOUNT, while getting e1 firefly will only benefit 1 team ( if u have funds for only 1 edilon not both) . Remember, now RM will be a long time before u will see RM rerun, while firefly is new character, her 1st rerun will happen soon ( soon I mean with in few months, rather then 1 yr or something ) . Yes in theory but in practice never nearly as good. IMO if you’re an f2p my recommendation would to go for ruanmei the best universal buffer in the game before going for firefly. I’m pretty sure there were calcs somewhere that showed even an e2s1 firefly did less damage overall than e0s0 running aeon and ruanmei. Still though running her without ruan mei is still pretty good.

Its better regardless because of how little SP she uses. She can be run in more sp intensive teams to get more dps. This video is just a direct comparison with the same teams, but if you replace gallagher with another support like bronya it would automatically be better.

I'd like to ask for break type characters, is it better to break with the DPS (Boothill/Firefly) and then supports like Gallagher and HMC deal super break dmg? OR break the enemy with supports and then break DPS to deal super break dmg? I'm just curious as which one will result in more dmg/faster clear

Breaking with the dps will almost always lead to more damage. That's because most of the time when you break here, you're going to have a little bit of toughness damage left over that will automatically turn into more super break dmg. Hope this helps!

Asta, actually she's pretty good, her skill has a good amount of break damage, she gives attack(which means more break effect for FF), and speed (always good especially in break teams), you'll probably want to build her with break effect though
