I think you missed the most important part... his base attack will be at least double that of gwin, so the dot multipler will blow her damage out the water. If you e2 him, it doubles that damage

Sadly despite this, he is not significantly better than guin in triple dot team. He does out-perform her in acheron comp, but for those that already have sw or sparkle, its not that massive of an upgrade to warrant the pulls anyway. Especially with sparkle on his banner.

Tbh i don't understand why they nerfed him so much. Like if Mihoyo nerfed him so that Acheron won't do godlike damage that break the game, then why even make Jiaoqiu a support for her? They don't need to nerf him like 4-5 times in a row. Buddy is literally a 3* character at this rate 😭

If a player has E2 Acheron then JQ won't be a necessity. Go for Sparkle instead. If Sparkle is already available then skip. People shouldn't really pull for a character just for PF purposes as it is the easiest content to clear because the game gave us units that can clear that and offers an option to pull for another unit that can be utilized in PF from the standard banner selector, specifically Himeko. If an Acheron is available at E0 only then by all means pull for him but if you're Acheron is already at E1, you can opt for E0 Sparkle then save up jades for an Acheron rerun to get that E2. This is just an opinion so chill.

my problem is that the only archetype i lack is dot teams because I don´t like kafka so I hoped i could pull him and have a good unit for acheron and dot but because he is male they nerfed him and it sucks. they should make their game balanced with how pricy pulls are

@@sakutaro3musik486 hes still a decent unit btw. But he's just not that worth considering the characters we have already. For those that don't have a high eidolon pela or guin hes fine to pull, though I'd argue to just wait because you'll have those characters eventually anyways.

depends. are you fine with waiting for those missing lightcones and eidolons to show up eventually? then hes not worth it. are you not fine with waiting and just want acherons good teams now? then pull for him. I already have the characters with good eidolons and lightcones so personally I'm not pulling, especially with feixiao and lingsha on the horizon. But if you're really desperate for acheron to start performing now, id say its perfectly fine to pull, its not like hes a downgrade, just a very slight upgrade

Personally, I think it depends on how much you're willing to invest into Acheron. From what I heard, her rerun is soon. Version 2.5 -2.7 . So if you want, you could save for her lightcone or E2. And with this in mind, decide whether you want to pull for him.

I'm sorry but there are soooo many things bad in ur vidio, most of them is for considering him in theory and not in practice. Firstly considering E5 Pela with S5 pearls and Jiaoqiu without the ult debuff and with no LC is wild, her debuff is much better than pela's one in same conditions. For Guinaifen he actually deals more dmg than her cause of his dots active many more times and he has a trace that gives him 2500 free atk. And Guinaifen's debuff has much less uptime than Jiaoqiu one, and you never get 4 charges even argainst bosses, since debuffs restart at every Boss phase. And saying that E0 Acheron best in slot Will be Silverwolf got me yelling, the is no way💀. His debuff is better and in all enemies, he deals more dmg and gives a ton more charges for Acheron than SV does. He might not be the best in theory but he absolutely is in practice for Acheron, he perfoms almost as good as Ruan Mei in dots and it's a good character for Argenti, Yunli and Firefly. If you consider him a niche character for Dots and Acheron, then Ruan Mei is for Breack and dots, there isn't a generical character in this game.

@@martisarda6346 I've tested it in private servers as you can see in the video. He's just not as powerful as he should be. Sure he's "better" but not by a large margin from what I'VE tested. Emphasis on I've. If other people have used him and he does miles better, sure, cool stuff. But strictly speaking, its not so much better than the other options. Also yes silverwolf pela is acheron E0s best because 100% def shred is insane, and in MOC the small guys die in an ult already, its just the big guys you ever need to care about. And in my runs against cocolia in AS, the only reason jiaoqiu performed better is because can break her faster as he is fire and not ice. Again if I'm proven insanely wrong and he's like 30% better than other options, I'll accept that I'm wrong here, but he really didn't feel that much better when I used him. Could be a difference of builds, how I used him, or other factors, but I am just the average player who tries to clear in 5 cycles, which is what most people are.

@@GachaKricis I'm not gonna reply you the other things but fot Jiaoqiu VS Silverwolf I saw seen a comparition vidio of both with Pela and E0S1 where Jiaoqiu had a shitty build (200 EH) and SV had and almost perfect build (more speed, er, and better sets for supporting). Even with that Jiaoqiu cleared 1 cycle faster and was in a Boss scenario. You underrate how good JQ debuff is, at E0S1 and for ult dmgs he make the enemies revive 75% more dmg, only that is almost as good as 100% def shread, and I'm not counting Pela along him. And he also is an insane battery for Acheron, way better than SV.

@@martisarda6346 I would actually like to see the video of that because that is pretty interesting and when I looked it up I couldn't find it anywhere. When I tested them I used their 4* options because jiaoqius lightcone is just insane and the difference was not all that big. Both did a close 0 cycle with no sustain. If you could link it please do and I'll re-create it in my own time just to see just how good he is.

Jiaoqiu went from being a 5 stars version of Pela (at beta, his Flavors stacks was DEF shred instead of Ashen Roast Vulnerability) to now a 4.5 Stars version of Guinaifen. I regret prefarming for him so much.

With Yunli before him and Feixiao after him I think I’ll be better off skipping him and saving. I’ll skip sparkle as well since I haven’t needed her since skipping her release so I don’t think I’ll need to pull her this time around. It suck’s he’s been changed around so much, maybe I’ll pull him on a rerun between characters I don’t want to pull for in the future.

As an E2S1 acheron owner, this puts me at a massive disadvantage. Not only do I want to get both jiaoqiu and sparkle and their LCs, I also need to save for lingsha for my FF team. I currently have 31k k jades saved, 16 pulls, plus 100 from starlight exchange. Hope I win a 50/50 or two so I could have some leftovers for lingsha

@@kzaryo328 should be going for 140% effect hit rate and then as much speed as possible. Your main stats will handle the rest. If you wan minimum requirements I think its 140 ehr 2k atk 134 - 161 speed 24 ER Anything else is a bonus really

Jiaoqiu is a good enough sidegrade on DoT teams, but his real use has always been as an Acheron support. Right now Acheron has good performance on both MoC and AS, but is really lacking on PF (mostly being carried by KafSwan, who themselves aren't amazing at an E0S0 standard). Jiaoqiu's stack gen is still insanely valuable for Acheron despite the V5 nerfs (as long as you run him on Solitary Healing). So anyone who has an E0S1 Acheron can just pull Jiaoqiu and solidify her in all 3 endgame modes instead of having to invest in a different PF oriented unit (all of whom tend to perform worse than her on the other modes). TLDR: Still a good pull for Acheron, Skip for everyone else

@@caiohl8135 imo still not worth because those are valuable pulls you can be using on the patch after for whats looking like much better characters. Sucking it up and just building those "PF only" characters will save so many jades for them to get actual upgrades instead of sidegrades.

@@GachaKricis His value lies in Acheron stack generations whilst giving great DMG vulnerability which has 100% uptime and can be refreshed to give Acheron more stack. Added bonus, he does decent DMG if built correctly. Sadly, I don't think he's much of a DoT DPS/support. Edit: DMG vulnerablitiy is better than DEF shred math-wise. Sadly you need the Sig LC to match Pela S5

@@GachaKricis If you really need the kick on DMG yeah, but that's not his purpose. He's a hybrid DoT debuffer, basically upgraded Guinaifen who specialize in 100& debuff uptime and quick debuffs stacking. Who also happen to give more DMG boost with the debuff. He's a swiss army knife of Nihility, almost like BS but more support focused.

@@GachaKricis If you need the kick of damage boost then yeah, but that's not his only value. He specializes in quick debuffs stacking with permanent uptime. He also provide decent dmg with his DoT. He happens to give dmg vulnerability which can benefit a lot of team. Acheron supposedly will deal less dmg with him vs Pela by at most 2-5% when I last calculated but you get way more frequent ult which help alleviate that slight dmg disadvantage. An for DoT team, if you have Kafka + BS, he helps to generate even more Arcana stacks. He's IMO a Nihility swiss army knife. Somewhat like BS but more support focused. P.S. @@_NguyenQuangHuy U all yapping about GUI is better but forgot GUI takes a decent amount of time to stack her debuff . If you kill enemies quickly enough, U have to start stacking all over again. JQ solves that problem through his talent + ultimate + 6 times trigger per ultimate. JQ max vulnerability has 100% uptime but GUI isn't . pela vs JQ , not sure , I let the theory crafters decide lol .

@@Thivesh_ have to remember one costs potentially 180 pulls all committed to him while the other will be gradually gained over time. And even then he is at most a small upgrade. He's not "unusable" or "worse" but he's also not "worth the pulls"

I have sparkle, save for robin. Sparkle’s on par with bronya, pela and tingyun. She’s not “meta”. I regret getting her. Robin, hmc and ruan mei are so much better. Unless you play old characters (dhil, jing yuan, jinliu etc…) don’t pull sparkle.

@@migurusu-saint9160I think what they meant to say was that sparkle is worth it only if you use 1.x dps since 2.x dps are not very crit reliant and acheron needs e2 to use sparkle while yunli can use sparkle robin is a sidegrade/better option so unless you only use 2.x dps like acheron boothill or firefly then sparkle is very worth it

@@anqelicneko yeah I was ready to pull for him too until he kept getting nerfed more and more as the beta progressed. At least his eidolons are still decent (though his E1 got nerfed too from 48% to 40%). But thats a lot of rolls if you get unlucky so its pretty sad.

@@GachaKricis Actually, I might as well. I have a whole lot of pulls saved up, with E1 Firefly (got E1 accidentally from 20 pulls on no guarantee). Since I have guarantee now (got Yanqing from 20 pulls from E1 Firefly), and I have 30 pity. I can guarantee my next 5 star, which might be Black Swan since I don't have DoT 5 star units and I have both Guinaifen (E5) and Sampo (E6). And I also have Acheron, in which Black Swan can fit as def shredder and sub-dps So, yeah. In gonna pull for Black Swan and Lingsha Edit: Plus, if I get Black Swan I also won't waste my pre-farmed Jiaoqiu trace materials
