Let's PAINT! In Episode 107 FAST! we spray Axalta Rival 3.5 Polyurethane in 1957 India Ivory and GM's "Pull Me Over Red" on our 1956 Chevy Bel Air in our home garage with beautiful results!
This QUICK version condenses 5 days of painting into one short video at hyperlapse speed with music in the background. If you're interested in seeing the entire paint job from start to finish at regular speed with commentary and discussion, there is the LONG extended version, 107 SLOW!

I honestly thought the red wad going to be the harder one to nail down. Once I saw it being mixed, there's only so much "red" it can be. 50% of the paint volume is red tint, and probably less than 5% are black and violet. I thought there might have been some amount of yellow, but no.

Looks excellent! It can be done in a home garage. P.s. I can’t believe you set the painted parts on concrete!

Thanks! The only thing on concrete is the hidden edge of the front fenders when I needed the scissor stand. The trunk lid is on a cardboard box that is barely visible!

I'll try again ... I noticed all the stul stored above you car and was hoping that none of the ol bondo dust would fall into your paint ... you probibly see a few bad spots that only you know about ... and no one else will notice unless you point them out ... the trick there is to not point them out ... looks great one camera ... now the trick is to assemble it without scratchin the paint ... good luck there ...

What I didn't mention is that in the days before I started shooting, I blew out the garage with my leaf blower to knock free all the loose stuff. I gave it a couple of days to settle back down. There is very, very little trash in the finish. I think most of it came from the hose, which gets drug around quite a bit and then lifted over parts being painted.
