My name is Charlotte, and I am the maker, knitter, and individual behind "Every Stitch Counts", based out of Washington state. On this channel I primarily make knitting podcasts for my other fiber and handmade loving folks. I talk mostly about what I have finished, what I've been working on, what I plan to be working on, and any other crafty or hobby driven en-devour I find myself getting up to! Not sure which episode you were asking about a knee high colorwork Scandinavian sock pattern but there is a book Norwegian Handknits. You can get it used. Many nice patterns from the old country.

Hi Charlotte. Loved your musings on the expensive yarn. Personally, if I am not happy with the knitted item, I am not going to wear it, expensive or not. Since the big factor is the yarn (not the pattern)... it will not knit up into anything you like. I sensed disappointment. I can relate. I had to give away my Stephen West shawl because the yarn had some cashmere (which I did not know I was allergic to).

Yeah it can be hard sometimes! More often than not it is always the yarn I dislike, and not the pattern!

Hello Charlotte and Lady. I always enjoy your videos. You have inspired me to knit and crochet. I did finish my baby jacket. One is to small. So I have start another one. This time I am using a different yarn. More softer. It makes bigger stitches and I use double yarn. Two skeins instead of one. I am in the middle of doing a shawl for me as well. Hi Charlotte - I find your content really interesting as I like your aesthetic and your analysis. However, the continuous background music is loud and extremely distracting. It is therefore, unfortunately, really challenging to concentrate on what you are saying - can you please ditch the music for a more enjoyable user experience? thank you!
