John, at the Zildjian Day San Francisco, Vinnie had just come the auction from Sting. He announced it to the crowd. You were sweating bullets because he was had flown to London for the audition, and then was flying back to San Francisco last second, and he only arrived at the venue less than an hour before he has scheduled to play. And then when he was done, he left to go back. - Ian

I actually have the Journey album Dream After Dream record on Vinyl. It is mostly intrumental, but there is a vocal tack, that is also on the Journey box set.

@@livefrommydrumroom ZIldjian Day in Boston 1983 - I remember Larrie Londin coming out and he started off by playing the groove from 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover. With GADD on the bill too!! Of course Larrie killed it. Great series John
