'UF-7' is just the series for this light controller. The site lists a few options for specific vehicles with a very comprehensive 'pic-what-u-need' section to design your own lighting system. What they sent you is what they thought you would find useful, I guess. Appreciate this latest entry on this subject.

This is very nice. I like the size and cost. I have the Tamiya TLU-01 and TLU-02. They do the same but, as mentioned, cost more and take up more space.

I'm a big fan of this Extremely helpful series.👍👍😊Unfortunately this kit still doesn't provide something that I always wanted: I'm searching for a kit where you can turn on and off the turning signals via the 3rd channel. Because you (or at least me 😀) don't want the turning signals to be on every single time you steer!

RC Showdown I was able to add one of the previously reviewed units to my FPV truck build and add the turn signals and lights to a separate channel so i could turn them on and off independent of the throttle and steering channels. I used two units, one connected the throttle to operate brake and reverse lights and the other connected to separate spare channels on my radio to control indicators and headlights.

I like your LED Test series, and i have a Part 7 for you. Try out the GT Power 4 Channel Professional LED System. this cost arround 20€ and is amazing. This gives you all u want to on your scale RC Car.

I beg your pardon: as an absolute beginner it is not clear to me if with any of these kits you do actually have to check the current on the leds circuits, or if this have already been taken care of by the connectors' board and there is no need for added resistors... TIA

Great question. These internally regulates to an extent. They will step down the five or 6 V output by the receiver To a voltage that will work with the LEDs but it doesn't exactly match the color of LED. It seems that they take some average voltage that doesn't fry the low-voltage LEDs and doesn't optimize the high-voltage LEDs

The best I can tell you is to reset all of your trims to zero. This is the notorious problem that these controllers have

Have you ever reviewed or have you seen a kit from GoolRC? That's what I bought of of Amazon for $13. All the light stay on. Turn signals don't work with the remote and one is very dim, the other is really bright. Reverse lights stay on. Directions are in broken English and not very thorough. I can't

Oh man, well my though is to first center all of the trims on the radio. If they are not centered or close to center then the kit wont work well. Start with that.
