I like the podcast but these guys sound ridiculous today. They want to see good movies and talk of equity but talk of actor and writer strikes being ridiculous. A good movie needs writers. A good movie needs extras, working actors alongside the stars. Some actors don't actually want to be stars. Just renumerated for a day's work and residuals thereafter which could also be seen as equity. I hope you billionaires get your wish. No one existing unless they serve you in some way. Lonely planet.

A wife should never publicly make fun of her husband. Yes I get it, "your sensitive" or "who hurt you"... right. The start of a divorce is little by little. Even if there is no divorce, the wife should show adoration for her man.

I'm absolutely enamored with the All-In team, but let me tell you, there's some glaring hypocrisy in this episode. When they start talking about fitness, they're all like, "Oh my gosh, it's so challenging! They give us way too much food, it's a crisis! I mean, back in my twenties, I had no idea!" They're all about showing compassion and understanding, saying nobody chooses obesity, and even calling for a whole movement. But when the topic shifts to work, they suddenly change their tune, preaching, "You can't just expect success, you gotta put in the hard work and stop complaining." And guess what, they even connect being healthy to achieving success at work. It's like, if you're going to posture about discipline, you can't just start giving out sob-stories and excuses when it comes to the most critical aspect of your life. It's weak-sauce, plain and simple.

Makes me really sad that as a nurse I'm supposedly so in demand but so disposable in reality within the institutions I've worked. I believe that is the majority reality for the industry. We don't have a union in SC. So many times I wish I had an advocate or protection from the places I work. The huge hospitals that find me disposable. It is the opposite of a meritocracy even though we have no union. Our pay is based on "fair," etc... there are no retention bonuses or benefits. It's really unbelievable if you heard my stories. The burn out is so high. We have so many incompetent staff. There's too much for me to write in any organized manner here. I was just thinking about unions per your conversation and why they exist.

The crew's reaction to Friedberg's superconductor talk really makes me question their intelligence. If the material is real, the importance is on par with the discovery of electricity. Oh, sure, spend 50 minutes about VCs, obesity or the fucking hollywood actor strike, but once you get to the most importance discovery in the last 100 years, fake-snore like a 7 year old.

Intermittent fasting works very will for a lot of people. I've had weight problems all of my life but for the last 20 yrs I can drop some weight just by the fasting. Also a lot of people have type 2 diabetes. For most of us it is totally curable with diet. Good exercise is always very helpful but not necessary. I just pick a time of day to eat, say 10 to 6pm, or 12 to 8pm and won't eat anything with caloric value, nothing. you need to put your body into a little stress so it produces adrenaline. My doc gave me metformin and it made me real sick. finally I was using insulin injections. Thought it was nuts so started getting educated about it. Many times doctors will let you go from meds to insulin w/o saying type 2 is totally curable for many with these restraints. love you all, bobby

One problem with the path to success, specifically, for women is children. Im a single, childfree, expat entrepreneur. I spent my 20s working, hustling, focused, and sacrificing free time to build my business and brand. Not all women, especially during their child bearing years can work like that...nor do they all have partners that are supportive or willing to follow their dreams. Now in my 30s, still simgle and chilfree. Still working, but much smarter, in a better country where I can leverage my American and European currency, and closer to my goals. This advice only workx if you remain single and childfree (as a woman), or be in a unicorm relationship where you have a supportive partner and support system. Or come from generational wealth. Men can focus and hustling for decades without interruption when they have wives/partners at home doing all the child care and household management.

Like ask who is conglomerating manufacturing and like how are we going to get americans to remanufacture in the next tech manufacturing. Like this was like a weird open secret and why didnt any you guys break it down. Like marketing of musk is the second problem. Like how much market share does those companies have and like how many americans are you guys investing in tech manufacturing of smart city. Like where is this american tech manufacturing infrastructure. All this and is it really just sochi 2024. Underdeveloped arenas and nobody calling out weirdos asians.
