@@zavulon422 иди и смотри - Yes I've seen it, I have Criterion Collection version on Blu-Ray груз 200 - not yet, it made it on my list of films to watch when I was reading about the Russian-Georgian war -EDIT: NVM, I thought it was about Russo-Georgian war, but it's set against Russo-Afghan war. whoops. про уродов и людей and Пыль - Looks like some interesting unknowns I may have to check out. остров - Definitely looks interesting, I will check it out. Looks like it may be similar to Andrey Zvyagintsev's "The Return" - in which case that's also one of my favorites. Thanks 🤘

About зелёный слоник. It's a meme movie. I mean, not some quotes and shots have become memes, the whole thing is a meme. Not many movies are. I can recall only few: "movie 43", "the big Lebowski", "dogma" and our "ДМБ", "остров сокровищ" (cartoon)

A silly comment; you should support Fyodor as much as possible who is trying to make a living showing his country's culture and traditions so that you can acquire Russian more easily and maybe one day understand that there is more to Russia than its current government. You should read about Russian heroes like Andrei Sakharov and Alexander Ginzburg before you gratuitously advise others whose circumstances you clearly do not understand.
