A fabulous chat with my old and dear friend and great drummer, Dave Mattacks! Dave and I discussed his approach to practicing, playing to a click track, his long and productive association with Fairport Convention going back to 1969, being in the London session scene for over 20 years, and his hugely successful career working with artists such as Paul McCartney, Jethro Tull, Richard Thompson, Mary Chapin Carpenter and much more!

I met Kenny Clare as he was on a show in Winnipeg with Cleo Laine and John. He came into the drum store I was working alone in , and bought me lunch in Osborne Village . We talked about Ireland and England
