Hey Richard !Thanks for all ! But I do have a Question ! Why Is i that you have more then one VARIETY in 1 pot ? Is it best to keep all the same variety in same pot ?
@TheBrewingMiner3 жыл бұрын
I don’t see why not mix and match varieties. They don’t seem to outcompete each other
@JulieBoolie883 жыл бұрын
They say it is almost impossible to tell them apart once they grow into each other. I have one pot with mixed cuttings though (all where I don't know which variety they are)
@GraftingDragonFruit3 жыл бұрын
I grow different variety in 1 pot to maximize my space. This is also to see if I like the variety enough to put multiple of it in one pot. The issue will be they can get mixed up as they mature but if you’re good at keeping track of what branch is which variety then you’ll be okay.

Absolutely perfect video I needed to watch :) I'm right at the stage where new growth is coming on, and as a first time dragonfruit grower, I had no idea, til this video, what to do and how to give the plants the best opportunity. One question about the garden tape - why doesn't it inhibit the growth of the trunks? I'm using rubber garden cord and I'm worried I'm going to cut off the growth of the stalks.

@kevinfromcali70623 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard my name is Kevin, your videos have helped me so much, I'm a beginner I'm going to build two trellises the way you instruct on your video and start with them, I'm going to need some cuttings obviously and I suppose that means I would start with 8 total cuttings, again per your video, do you have a favorites list of varieties, and I wouldn't mind some of them being self sterile, I would actually enjoy learning how to help the plants get pollinated, collecting pollen and so forth. Anyways thanks for your consideration, and keep up the good work, you're very cheerful and always carry a lot of joy in your videos and that is beautiful!
