By popular demand, I was asked to do a long ride for the 1000 mile review. Since the bike has 420 miles more than the ZS190 engine, I Started at 1000 miles on the bike, and ended at 1000 (1420 miles) miles on the engine worth of video.
Visited Lake Waramaug State Park during our ride.
I have a total of $1500 invested in this ZS190cc conversion Motorcycle. (at time of build)
$1060 Hellcat 125cc new (at time of purchase) bit.ly/2Yyv9jD MOTOCHEEZ discount during checkout.
$700 Zongshen 190cc engine (from Dave)
$100 Shinko Offroad DOT Grom tire set: ebay.to/3dKIoDB
$7 Iridium spar plug: amzn.to/3hz6OBH
$100 Grom full performance exhaust SS and Aluminum: amzn.to/2BI2SxS
$60 OKO 30mm flat slide carb: From Dave
$18 #25 Heavy duty starter chain: amzn.to/30kWSpf
$3 Corner Brackets for oil cooler: amzn.to/3cGviFE
$15 Frame bolts (ebay.to/2zdtG8a Grade 8) (ebay.to/2L5sCWq Grade 5)
NEW TIMES: 7 second 0-50 mph and 10 second 0-60 mph
The ZS190 engine swap takes 3 to 4 hours if you take your time.
Contact Dave Bullock in the “ZS190 swap” facebook group for this motor.
Follow “parkers Garage” on facebook for other Z190 videos.
the HellCougar: www.rideapart....
Either Iridium spar plug: amzn.to/3hz6OBH
Either Grom full performance exhaust SS and Aluminum: amzn.to/2UMyAkp
ZS190 OKO 30mm flat slide carb:
ZS190 Heavy duty starter chain: amzn.to/30kWSpf

My new Leather Kevlar gloves: amzn.to/2Bt7OGT

Frame Bolts (ebay.to/2zdtG8a Grade 8) (ebay.to/2L5sCWq Grade 5)
Shinko Offroad DOT Grom tire set: ebay.to/3dKIoDB
It goes pretty good for a 125cc bike (55 mph after tune), suspension is nice, braking is good. 0-50 mph in 19 seconds (125cc)

So, Cheez... I finally got my bike. Didn’t get what I left that morning to go and get. But I got an awesome bike at a great price! Wound up picking up a 2012 CBR600RR with 2035 miles. Never dropped, one owner, has Yoshimura slip on, fender delete, Integrated tail light, and a power commander tuner, as well as lowered 2” front and rear. It’s a strong bike. More than enough for me. It’s already Got my wife wanting her own bike. So we’re looking at getting her a CBR300R. Awesome content as always my man! Grom clone vs hawk 250. Which do you like more? I was thinking hawk 250, titan 250, or vador
@MotoCheez
@MotoCheez Жыл бұрын
The hawk 250 is a nice full size bike It's definitely more comfortable if you're going to do a lot of riding, the Vader being so small is a more fun bike in different circumstances it kind of depends on what you like to do best. Stock the Vader is pretty slow though The hawk isn't a speed demon either but it's much faster

😅. Yes my starter chain was breaking because the jet needle on the carb plunger was not seated in correctly and it would cough when I would try to give a gas at low RPM and kick the motor back. Have not broke a starter chain since I corrected that a few years ago

WoW cheese that little bike rocks.. I got to bring up the GPX 250R And ride together I want to see the two together. I ride the GPX on the road a lot to the trails. The gearing is way low to ride all the way up your neck of the woods. I start off in 2nd a lot trail riding. I've got to change the rear sprocket anyways definitely too low. What river had that many crayfish? That's supposed to be a sign of a healthy water if the crawdaddys are rockin.Great entertainment thanks for another awesome video

Until that chain breaking mess is resolved, that's a definite reliability issue. The average rider isn't going to have the ability to tackle the fix themselves. But... most of those would need a shop to do the conversion for them anyhow. You need you a crawfish trap and catch you some din-din.

Please excuse my ignorance with this question, because my knowledge of motorcycles is somewhere between jack and shit. But is there a reason why the chain drive starter that keeps breaking can't be replaced with a belt drive using one of those toothed belts? Wouldn't it just be a matter of changing the sprockets to belt wheels and the chain to a belt? Or am I talking out of my ignorance and looking like a fool?
@MotoCheez
@MotoCheez 4 жыл бұрын
I believe it's because the large starter compared to the 125cc starter which never breaks. All your ideas I want to try but didn't find a belt to fit.. thought about gears too.. I did just get a smaller start to try 8f I can get it to fit
