@sorcikator9933 жыл бұрын
@@alph0nso Long story short, it is set in 2315, years after the Capital Wasteland was set ablaze by the She-Demon (aka an evil Lone Wanderer). The protagonist, William Wilks, is forced to leave his home of Big Town (now the largest settlement) after the place is raided by unknown mercs looking for him. Allies in the the remnants of steel told him that the She-Demon is back, and that for some reason, she is looking for him specifically. Now, I admit it was basic and it has flaws, but as the first story I finished, it has a special place for me.

I hate to admit but to this day I STILL havent got to play F3 or F4, nor New Vegas....I did play the first two games back in the day when GoG was giving them for free after they lost they rights to sell them and I absoultely loved both of them, despite their age. Right now im playing Fallout Shelter and even though its rather simplistic game, its somehow addictitve in shorter sessions :D Ofc I plan to play on F3, F4 and New Vegas at some point, but you know how it can be...too many games and not enough time....ever since I went to army in 2008 and studies/work afterwards, I just have not had the time to play everything I would want....and the backlog of games just grows and grows...

Been almost 12 years and this game still holds a special place in my heart
@deepfriedicecream5764 жыл бұрын
its almost been 12 full years since the release of Fallout 3. I remember playing it when I was about 11 years old. I just finished New Vegas and wanted more Fallout. I remember watching my older brother play this game way back on release day. I got to play it for my own. God those times were so great. Hours and hours of Fallout content watched on youtube, thousands of hours played, and being in the community and talking about Fallout leaks, when Fallout 4 was coming, talking about secrets we've found, making memes, Fallout will always have a special place in my heart. Even today, nearing my 20th birthday, first year being in the military, second year out of high school, I never stopped playing Fallout.

Tierman Beats This is most likely due to the fact that after New Vegas, people wanted a Fallout 4. Since Skyrim and ESO were released instead of Fallout 4, Desire for the game became so intense, that it died out as fast as intensity rose. Now with Fallout 4 in sight, people are running for the hills to no longer shout fus-ro-dah, but to shout FALL-OUT-4!!!

What is it with people "needing" and "deserving" remakes? The original will always be better, remakes are *nothing* but a cash grab. You can play the original on any old piece of garbage, and the internet is loaded with HD texture packs that look a thousand times better than anything in an outsourced remake.

When the camera 🎥 shows the lone wanderer standing up on the hill, I was immediately hooked. Plus I love that “dear hearts and gentle people” song. I had fun with the 50s-60s music, the weapons, the armor, The story, and The entire world of Fallout. Plus this trailer made me love the main outfit of the game: “The armored vault suit”. I always wear it or I have it in my inventory at all times. Same with the other fallout games. I know this game has its flaws but honestly I still wanna give it a 10.😎👍🏼

But when I saw this video for the first time (back in E3 2008), I just fell in love with this game, and I didn't know why at that time. Bought it, first time that I got out of the Vault 101 and saw all that freedom... from that day until today, it conforms my 'triforce' between Fallout 3, Dark Souls, and Final Fantasy VIII. So much love, so many anecdotes...
