Happy Cow Games-wise, the Sony was best. Feature-wise Microsoft. The only what made me interested on the microsoft one was HoloLens, Forza (kinda), mods for fallout (The thing that made pcgaming unique). Sony had great games everywhere, and some indies.

Though one could review them on a basis of when the content will actually arrive, this was by far the best E3 conference this year on a presentation level. Even if the biggest announcements are a couple years off, they were exactly the right things for Sony to show to have a good conference. A conference is a hype machine, and by that standard Sony had the best hype machine. I will admit, however, that Bethesda held a pretty lofty standard leading up to that. I thought nothing could possibly pass that. I've been so excited for Dreams since the initial Media Molecule creation software dmeo they did a couple years back. I've wanted it to come to retail for a while now, so I was so happy to see this take shape. I was completely unimpressed at Project Spark's reveal the same year when I knew Media Molecule had something far superior on the way. I can't wait to play around in that. One more thing: I love that Shenmue 3 is happening. How they're going about that, though, seems a bit dirty.

Remake is the more appropriate term. A remaster is a graphical improvement. A remake is a complete overhaul.

I feel like younger gamer fans will not understand the hype fully for Final Fantasy 7. This is a game that was released 18 years ago. 18 YEARS! This is 18 years longer years of hype for this announcement for this remake of one of the biggest games that helped define the name "Playstation" People keep saying, "Oh Half Life 3, Kingdom Hearts 3, Last Guardian, is more hype. They trolled us" and I don't knock you for that, but 18 years of playing through this game, of never getting a correct sequel, of countlessly being teased over and over and over again for a remake we've been asking for, for a game this big, there really isn't another single game, that can hit people so hard, and make them feel so emotional just by announcing it. I feel so sorry that people aren't fans to be able to feel the level of joy I had when this was announced, with me literally crying, could breathe and heart pounding so fast, it was an amazing moment and NOTHING, this whole E3 can top me having that extravagant amount of happiness. Sony truly won this E3, but in the end....gamers won.

The Last Guardian demo that was shown looked graphically worse than when it was introduced in 2009, Horizon looked great but had no release window, Shenmue 3 had to be Kickstarted because Sony didn't believe in the IP and won't release until Holiday 2017 at the earliest, FF7 Remake is also coming to Xbox One, and Uncharted 4 demo crashed. PS4 owners have some really low standards.

Was hoping for something REALLY big like backwards compatibility, I hope every year. But a overall good conference. Can't wait for Uncharted 4! Played U1 and 2 so far, need to get the collection and play 3, then I'll get 4. Next E3 I expect a new controller! With better battery life! One that lasts longer than the lifespan of a freakin' crane fly!

I think it was close. Sony won because they were more exiting and they really used the power of nostalgia to put people on a high. Marketing wise, it was fantastic, they got the hardcore gamers feeling like they were at woodstock or something. Actual content wise, they were still very strong but most of their games are coming out in 2016-2017. I mean that was basically a conference for 2016. Microsoft on the other hand had mostly games that are coming out this year. I don't think microsoft gets enough credit for that, they got games coming now and games for 2016. Sony had more wow factor and they inspired a lot more emotion. Both were fantastic and gamers who have both consoles have a lot to look forward to.

Final Fantasy VII is getting REMADE, son. It's much more than a remaster! That's why people went so nuts over it. And about the Joker... Mark Hamill is part of the voice cast for Arkham Knight, so you know he's gonna be doing some Joker. But that doesn't mean the Joker is alive though. If I had to guess, it's either gonna be some recorded footage type stuff or maybe flashbacks, something like that.

Last guardian is going to be a hard game demo. Feel like it's something you need to play to experience. Strongly feel that no man sky will come out this year. Since Sean Murray said they were going to give a release date, but Sony told them not too..... FF VI and tactics are far superior to vii. If you search around in the end of city. There is a message revealing joker is still alive. And cmon gamer, naughty dog wouldn't have messed up back to back in two conferences. They clearly did it on purpose to show it was a live demonstration.
