E30 1987 BMW repairing the AC

I added the AC belt and had the AC blowing but not cold. got a new adapter and recharged it.
gets way colder now.

Yes for some reason it works like that. And if I put it normal the RPM sky rocket. 🤷‍♂️

Hey man im concerned you put the wrong freon in the system. Is this still working bc if it lasts longer than a year i have nothing to lose

It worked for a bit. But the compressor has a leak. I put cement puddy on the leak but never refilled it. I plan to get it fully repaired for maybe 3 to 400$
