this was done wile we were fine tuning the length for this itb setup.
a lot of torque mid range was gained and still managed to also gain some peak power

@@BDSMotorsport id say the main reason is they can only make like 250-280hp without an overbore and better internals when u can buy a m52 and make up to 500hp for cheaper if not the same price

Have a 318is in the US and have been eyeing an ITB setup since I bought the car. Just terrified of having it go south and not having the car on the road for years

If you want itbs go for RHD kit. I installed mine in 1 day, drove it with stock ecu for one year, no problems in drivability. Then one year later I installed standalone ecu, tuned it myself and made 170hp on otherwise stock m42 engine.

Depends on what power it will be running. Injectors don’t add any power they just support the power
