Take the oil feed for the turbo somewhere from the oil filter housing ,it’s much cleaner and pressurised and cooler instead of taking it from the head. Other than that the built looked mean. Good job!

Sick build! I can’t wait to see some dyno/pull videos of this one. I hope the headstuds aren’t going to bite you in the pooper tho becouse m50 heads (m42 is IMO a mini m50) tend to crack from the valve holes to the stud holes. Maybe try to ream them and chamfer the holes to relief it of some stress? Cheers!

I run 30 psi on my twincharged 318ti(m44) and 2 kits of nitrous. Looking at the turbo manifold that style, I had one similar and had bad boost creep problems. Especially with a small turbo. I still have a little boost creep with a gt3582r turbo. I have a 15psi spring in the Wastegate and the least boost I can make is 23psi. Good luck with the build.

I also run a haltech elite 1500. Their wiring diagrams are super easy to follow and they have KZbin videos for almost every function.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned or not, what head gasket is being used or going to be used? A .140 MLS? If so what will be used for the coolant profile gasket? Does the OEM one have enough "squish" with the thicker head gasket?

I clean my bikes rusted tanks with vinegar you need to neutralize it with backing soda. Vinegar is acidic and and promotes rust if not neutralized. Good luck with the build

i Own a MK Motorsport 318Ti, the only street legal M42 Turbo model in Europe. Never go over 350 hp and 480 NM with stock internals, or will broke, the best way i found is good cams, TD04, and good injection ECU. Nothing else Matter.

1:03 As an american that owns a US spec 318ti, I can say that America did get the compact. Only the 318ti though, no 323ti or anything. :/

I am, cars waiting for me to paint it and other things have been in the way. I did a massive order of all the OEM bits required, all gaskets etc, and got every fastener required so it's all new. Just waiting for me to put it together
