i have a M30B34 in my 1986 735i i love it so much. fairly easy to work on and diagnose, very reliable, all around love the old BMWs especially the M30 platform (im 21)

M30 is the best motor, it’s so nostalgic for me. Grandpa had many m30s when I was a kid. The raw sound, and smell of an old BMW. That’s why I am in the middle of swapping a m30b32 into my 84 318i. I need this sound forever in my life. Is is music to my ears and soul. (I’m 21)

Thony the maw You have to solution for 400hp+. 1. Buy E30 and swap engine with 1JZ-GTE (this engine have 280hp in stock, just add exhaust system, decat and intake for have 350hp+) 2. Buy e30 and install turbocharger. e30 build for 400hp+ (with stock engine) : m20b25 stroker kit Decat downpipe eisenmann race exhaust stainless manifold K&N filter cat cams 272° T3/T4 universal kit 600cc injector 255l/h fuel pump NGK spark plug bkr9eix (x6) E30 forged clutch Remap ecu

The loudest noise what I ever heard - was drag e30 with s54 without any muffler, just 1 meter tube 150mm in diametr. When she starts - the noise was so loud, the if you even cover youe eares with fingers your eyes and your brain will pain becouse of sound...
