Like your reviews, FMS also with their parts support makes them more and more appealing. I have recently ordered 3 FMS cars based on so many positive reviews here on KZbin - Love the scale and the details/thoughts they have put into their cars. A tremendous supplement for this hobby, thanks FMS for bringing a segment like this!

I love the "that will not stop me". just gotta make them better. I'm impressed with the quality / details of the ROCHOBBY trucks you have showcased, but there is always room for improvement! this is really good looking but I'm looking forward to what you will do to it.

They do a great job. I am not a fan of the electronics on this one. They are good but not my fave.

Great little truck, I just can't justify the price as I have other projects that need funds. Be great candidate for a light and sound unit maybe the WPL control board. Be great to see what you do with it.
@AMPROEngineering2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, this isnt cheap. If you are looking at a small trail truck and have a thing for Unimogs, ok. If not, it could be hard.

The rear panels for the load area definitely need to be painted like wood. Also the beacon lights on the roof need some kind of socket or base (like a ring around it). Maybe put a water tank on the load area with a little hose and pump to water plants.
@AMPROEngineering2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I need the wood painted and I cannot live with those beacons not working!

another great review, can you possibly explain Rochobby/ Fms /Ezyrc relevance to each other , only if you have time
@AMPROEngineering2 жыл бұрын
I wish I knew. I think it is this: Lower price point: EazyRC. Mid range, better electronics and more metal:FMS. High end electronics, better paint and in some cases, insane details: RocHobby

I wonder if this body will fit on the FMS Power Wagon chassis so it gets portal axles. Both those truck appear to use a similar chassis but it is hard to tell from the product images I could find online.
@AMPROEngineering2 жыл бұрын
Wow, that is a great question.
@YoShImUrA532 жыл бұрын
@@AMPROEngineering The portal axles are indeed available from FairRC, so they're just a click away... I'd say it'd be a pretty straightforward conversion, tohugh my concern would be the body height, due to the portals... I'd love to have a look at the suspension, and see how to make a sort of drop-type of dampers, to make it all be more scale, and gain a bit of downward articulation in the rocks, without affecting the overall stance of this already very scale and gorgeous vehicle. I also wonder about adapting the two-speed to it... that's also available, btw... but to be fair, easiest way would be to Frankenstein the bits and pieces straight from an FCX24, and then know exactly what you'd need.

For such a small truck it seems pretty capable. When you get it in the loose dirt it's too light to get traction, but still pretty good. I noticed another comment that they said they couldn't justify the price. I took a quick look on Amazon and the list price is $160. after watching the whole video this in no way seems too pricey.
@AMPROEngineering2 жыл бұрын
yeah they are pricey. If you are into a unimog, I can see that. If not, it could be hard.
@edwardbroyles97382 жыл бұрын
@@AMPROEngineering I get that. I've not bought any of these rochobby kits so maybe that is high. The other trucks I've got were larger and more expensive, so no frame of reference. I bought a traxxas TRX-4 a couple of years ago. First it was top heavy so I got brass under carriage parts, then lighting kits. Then a winch plus metal bumpers, new tires & wheels. The current project is fitting in an interior with operating steering wheel and a driver with a servo to turn his head. Looking back if someone had told me how much I would end up spending on just this one truck I would have said "you're crazy". Every little bit of add ons that I finish I say that's it. Oh well.
