Very nice. Really good design. I never realised there was a suspension point so far inboard on the RC10. I had to get a bnch of ball ends and turnbuckles to come up with something to work for mine.

So whats weird is that only this RC10 that I have was using them. All the rest were using the array but as I have been working on them, I am moving the lot to the inboard point.

Very cool stuff! I really like you made it modular to fit various style of lipo packs. The servo mount is really slick too! As always i am ever impressed by your smarts to come up with cool ways of changing things without forcing major surgery and alterations to the cars!

Well thank you! I figured those two sizes were common and I could always print a tiny adapter for my smaller lipos. That stock servo geometry always annoyed me...

My Kyosho Ultima Pro XL would benefit from a custom battery holder. The factory hold downs are for the duel 3 cell packs used back in the 80s. Great work.

I trimmed the bottom of the rear bulkhead battery cup and lipos fit great

The esc mount is an improvement over the one i am using. I have had one by RPM that mounted to the lower bolts on the shock tower.

What are those extra tie rods attached to the arms near every shock? Sway bar adjusters?

Those are indeed sway bars. I think only the early cars had these and they have been adapted to fit the long front arms on this car. I cant say they do much other than look awesome.

Nice parts! Hehe, nearly 20 years ago I ran my RC10 T2 with 7 cell Nicad packs in an "all scales" race at a special day set up in a public space. It was quick and was catching up with the IC 1/8 buggies, but as the race was 15 mins, I lost 1.5 laps swapping the batteries as I had to cut and replace the zip ties that held it in the tray!! Doh!

I think you're engineering parts for not only this car but other vehicles are ingenious but at the same time I feel like shapeways is a complete rip off with pricing and shipping rates. Have you ever considered your own eBay store?

Thank you! Well shapeways prints in SLS and that is what I want to use. I have yet to find anyone selling SLS for cheaper. I used to have an ebay store but then I would have to pay to ship parts to me, charge to ship part to the buyer, add ebay markup....then I wouldn't make anything AND it would take time. I do have these parts on MyMiniFactory for a home FDM print for cheap!

@@AMPROEngineering I hope I did not come across to grumpy in my initial comment. Just that I have in the past found that they tend to priced high and then seem to hit you again on higher then it should be shipping for what can be a very small light weight item. That all said its not a reflection of anything you have control over. I do enjoy your insite and engineered approach to problem solving within the hobby. Just wish there was a more affordable way to get printing done as it seems the technology itself is now more common and affordable in itself. I will certainly have a look at your mini factory page!
