what year was your 530i ? was your factory lens 'glued' on or did it just pop out ?

Mine was a 540i. 1998. Popped right out, no glue.

I have a 2002 530i with the same headlamp assembly. On the very outside of the assembly, past the turn signal there is a tiny bulb that has burned out. Do you know how to access that bulb? Must I remove the entire headlamp assembly from the car?

The replacements I bought fit except for the turn signal bulb (amber) won't fit and I am not sure how to proceed. I also am getting a side light warning. Everything else works but may have to put the old one back in,

Did you pull it off with the trim piece on the bottom still attached to the headlight?

yes.. the body color trim piece was still on while i took the assembly off. You simply just have to pull it out of the old one and set it with the new one before you install it. I forgot to mention that, it just comes right off..kind of like a clip that just slides in and out.

where is the fuse box ? have new bulb but it stop working on my driver side , it isn't the bulb need to find all fuses to reset it

Electrically no issue...the sensors detect everything alright. only thing is the projector seems adjustable on this one but it's not. If you buy a more expensive set by DEPO you should have that option as well. But these are pretty good regardless.
