upholstery dye or shoe polish is good too as once applied can be rubbed in with a brush like freshening up nubuck

Any thoughts on RIT? I’ve had great luck with it on regular headliner material as well as clothing items. I’m thinking of using it before i just call it a day and reupholster the headliner and shelf. Looks great by the way, definitely good for DIY status.

where does the powershade cable connect to?

I think you'd have been better using a stiff brush or a vacuum cleaner to clean the shelf prior to spraying it. Surely, using a cloth would leave deposits of material/fluff? Also, I've seen other videos where they use a paint brush to "stroke" the wet (sprayed) dye into the shelf to prevent blobs and inconsistent coverage.

Good job, but now you have to spray the wall white as well, a part of the wall at least🙄

You should see the rest of storage….overspray came right off

I felt bad seeing the over spray everywhere, but it is water base so should clean up.
