Opening a late-production e39 headlight the hard way using Dremel tool. This method requires a lot of patience, long razors, and a careful hand to not damage the light too badly.

Why I'm here: I replaced my adjusters using the ship-in-a-bottle no-cut method. One of the adjusting screws was stuck and needed lubrication. A few drops of oil made their way to the inside of the lens, and that was all she wrote. Lots of time, isopropyl alcohol, and ingenuity weren't enough to get the lens clean. A hard job, wasted. Thanks for this! I was going to use my Dremel rotary but you had a better idea.
