Playing upstarts in amaryllis is something I also wanted to try out. Lots of people feel it goes against the nature of the deck, but I don’t view amaryllis as a burn deck the way it was originally conceived. Like you said, tytannial spam is just really hard to deal with.

So im just gonna say this, i was wrong about the dragon deck you posted yesterday. It looks quite weird on paper, but it is quite good. So yeah thats really freaking cool that it was able to be innovated like that. But fairies man. Every time i play with or against fairies lately, i love the deck more and more. Like im pleasantly surprised on how well it does every time i use the deck. And i cant deny that it is definitely a good deck. I think with the draw trap craze lately, theres also more wiggle room for a tethys turbo style deck too. Im not sure how you feel about the card too, but miraculous descent has been clutch for turboing out krystia to the field asap. And it creates unique scenarios to bring back krystia where you can chain it in certain situations to not only lock the opponent out, but make them go minus as well. Idk i just feel like fairies is highly slept on at the moment and was happy to see you still hold the deck in high regards.

Gadgets are super flexible and underrated tbh

Machina Gadgets solidarity is good, not great but still very solid. Sure, when they side deck devastation virus and pulling the rug it hurts but being able to play like 6-7 board breakers + solidarity is so good. I never played too many tournaments but when I did gadgets always overperformed

Gadgets hasn't topped a single premier event. Kinda hard to put them anywhere but where they are.

The lists got better and the players who are working on the deck are consistently some of the best players. As a result it has won 3 massive RBETs despite a grand total of like 3 people playing it in each event.

100% recommend 2x (or even 3x) Herald of Purple in the Valhalla deck. You can just play into/through everything, only stopping the traps you actually care about that hit your bombs, keeping the fairy count high for Tethys and can help dead fairies in hand be more live. Card is amazing.

@@E3YuGiOh it mained double retiari and leant HEAVILY into cycling them. Not committing too hard to the back row in one instance either. The idea isnt to throw monkey feces at the wall and see what sticks, it's present the opponent with small but breakable situations and then having a crack back. Forcing them to commit a little too much and whittling away resources. I've been playing GB since the release of LODT (even playing it in modern at YCS250) so the lines just happen without much thought. That could be the reason I ran so deep, but it's a deck that rewards experience. If you've seen Frazier's mother grizzly frog profile, I'm the GB player that was banishing stuff from the guests binder. 😂

im overwhelmingly confused why you would play luster dragon in the dragon list, yeah I get it its a beater, but it doesnt even seem to synergise, unlike how you run alius in hero frog to search off stratos, or in hero beat to synergise with gem spark

I think it's the same reason botanical lion is played in amaryllis. I'm not wholly sold on it, but the statline is undeniably good and just being a dragon you can banish for redmd is never gonna be terrible
